Good infant toys for Christmas!!
Good idea, it'll give me something to do today since work seems to be slow. I will say that from 9 mos - 12 mos (well, even now at 14 mos), Kyan really only cares for balls, cars, and instruments or things he can bang on.
And the boy loves his shoes. He wants to sleep with them. It doesn't matter if it's his stride rites or his slip on shoes. He cries and points for them all the time.
The new TMX Elmo was released on Tuesday. They say that's going to be hotter than the original CPK dolls. Kyan gets a kick out of watching those Elmo and Tigger dolls but nothing holds his interest like his cars or his football and baseballs or banging on the $10 xylophone we got him a while back.

I think Makayla is going to run out of space for toys, since her b-day and christmas are 3 days a part. I need to stay out of the stores, cause I contanstly buying toys for her. I saw the new elmo, and I want to get that for her, but I will try to wait to get it for christmas.

TMX Elmo
OMG!!! This toy has ME hysterical. I bought it on Tuesday for Danny (early bday present... I was dying to see what it did so I didn't wrap it) Danny was scared at first but now he LOVES it! I hope you can find one... they're fighting over them here and I saw that they're selling on Amazon for over 100 bucks (I got mine at Walmart for 28)
I bought Danny the fisher price house that has a door for babies to crawl in and around, he is constantly playing with it. My sister bought Danny this teddy bear that reads stories (think teddy ruxpin of our generation) I can't think of the name of it but he loves that one too. We also love the new little leaps video game system for infants and Magiq- a stuffed animal that interacts with baby and the tv. Anything noisy from VTech is a favorite with Danny and his daddy bought him a DRUM (from Parents- We got it at BJs but I've seen it at Target) The drum has all these musical instruments inside and 2 drumsticks that Danny and daddy fight over. I had to give up two of my plastic wooden spoons so that each of the boys have something to hit the drum with.
We have TOO much... my house is starting to feel like a toy store. I'm starting to put away the baby stuff so I can make room for birthday and xmas toys too. I asked my family to get him fisher price little people houses and stuff for toys (he only has the zoo and loves the little people) We want to buy him a ball pit for xmas (he plays in one at gymboree and goes nuts for it)
I'm up for more ideas too!
