Morning!!

I thought I would come join you guys. My little Jackson (aka Jaws aka Fingers aka bruser) Is 9 months old today!! His apointment isn't till tomorrow so I don't know weight length and all that stuff. I am assuming he is around 20 lbs. He has 8 teeth and has been drooling like crazy so I wonder if there are a few more on the way. He wears 12 month clothes, crawls, walks while holding onto something and can stand on his own for about 5 seconds. He just got his first pair of shoes which is helping him in the standing department. He sleeps in a big boy race car bed, eats only table food and also drinks a little milk and lots of formula. Now that the specifics are out of the way....lol Yesterday when I picked him up from day care he was all bruised up. 3 kids were going one direction and he was going the other, in short....he got knocked over and hit his face on a dresser, got a little shiner. Normally Jackson is an awsome sleeper but last night his schedule was goofed up cause we went to see Lories new baby and so he got a nap in. It took me like 2 hours to get him back to sleep. Finally he quit messing around at 10:20 and went to sleep so I am exhausted today. Anyway thats our story...I will be around here more. Jess

Hey Jess! Nice to see there has been more posting here! I lurk here all the time but it doesn't seem too active. I guess many of us still live on the preggo board! Poor Jackson, his first collision! I know he is tough like Mommy though! How is Lorie doing? Valena

I was hoping this board would jump off. I figure I will give it a few weeks and if it doesn't pic up, head just to the preggo board. I would be nice if this board gets going though with all the new mommies needing parenting advice. Jess

Hi everyone.... I usually lurk here but wanted to say hi to y'all. Kayden is FUSSY!!!! Teeth coming in, fever, loose stools, won't let ANYONE but ME hold him....BUT! He said his first word today...."mama" twice......once this morning and then once this afternoon.... The other 3 are driving me nuts too. Don't want to do their chores, fighting with each other, not doing homework, generally ******g me off.... And tonite when I check on them before bed they will all look so cute and adorable that I will remember why I love them inspite of it all. Oh, the joys of motherhood.... Tammy

I usually Lurk too but decided to start posting to see if we can get this board moving. I know how you feel about the clingyness. Jackson has a horrible cold and cried all morning and just layed on me. Jess
