Cloth Diapering

Hi everyone!! My hubby and I have decided to cloth diaper and I'm SOOOO excited about it.......I can't even begin to tell you!! When I used to think of cloth diapers, I would think of those ones that you'd have to fold and pin and put the rubber pants over. I recently did some research and found out that there is a WHOLE new world of cloth diapering out there and new diapers NOt like grandma used to use!! Well the ones I ran across that I'm 99% sure I'm going to use are called Fuzzi Bunz. they are what's called in the cloth diapering world a pocket diaper. the "frame" of the diaper looks just like a disposable except it's cloth. then you stuff the pocket in between the outer and inner layer with inserts to the absorbency level that your child needs. I'm telling you what, I've never been so excited in my life and I don't know why......can't explain it. I guess after I did the figurin' and saw that we'd save 1,000 dollars a YEAR on disposables!! (keep in mind we have 3 in diapers, 1 newborn, a 2 year old and my daughter wears them only at night and nap time but I only counted my 2 youngest since my 2 and 3 year old wear the same size) If you use name brand diapers, that figure would be even higher!! Not to mention the environmental impact and the nasty stuff that disposables are made of (that I found out after researching.......YUCK) Anyway, are there any other cloth diaper users out there? Any wanna be cloth diaper users out there?? lol What do you think about cloth diapers? I want to hear what ya'll think!! Allie
