Danny's 10 month update
We had Danny's doctor appt yesterday and he's growing like a weed! He's now 25.6 lbs and 28 3/4" long.... oof... thats one BIG boy! He's officially heavier than his 2 year old cousin and he's slowly catching up to his 5 year old cousin! We just started Danny on size 24 month clothes or 2T and size 5 diapers! I'm almost out of sizes and we'll have to resort to adult diapers next! LOL. The good news is that with all the crawling, moving and apetite changes that are coming, he should be leveling out very shortly.
He's doing very well. He's eating like a champ. Feeding himself often. He's walking as long as he has something (like a chair) to push along and hold him up. The doc says he'll definately be walking solo before he's a year old. He has 6 teeth in and we spotted two more coming out on the bottom. I asked about Stage 2 formulas... my doc said it's not necessary. The formula is just about the same, same calories, etc. The difference is adjusted vitamins that aren't necessary until he's a year old. He said to skip it and just give a multivitamin with milk at age 1. I also asked about milk and eggs. He still just wants egg yolk only until age 1 unless it's a processed food like pasta. And he said mashed potato or other food with milk as an ingredient is fine at this stage because he has other dairy... just as long as it's not straight up milk. He doesn't get that until he's a year old because its very hard to digest.
Thats the update! I've been busy planning his big 1st birthday bash... I decided a farm theme was cute. Thanks for reading up on my prince!

WOW.... Danny is really growing! Sarah is trying to catch up with him. At her 4 month check-up she was 15 lbs and 26" long. I'm sure she is going to be taller then mommy. lol
The farm theme sounds like a lot of fun. I'm sure all the kids are going to love it.
