Happy Monday

Hello there I hope everyone's weekend was a wonderful one!!! Hunter & I went garage saling on saturday and scored some cool stuff. Found one of those activity gym's where you lay the baby on their back and the gym is up above. It has 2 toys which he can hit at and flashing lights and music. Hunter just LOVES his new toy!! Mommy scored, for $4.00, brand new condition! Just gearing up for another week here. The weather has been great and warm this last couple of days. It has been a rainy/cool summer up here in Alaska. I am hoping the rest of August is nice and warm. Maybe it will make up for the ho-hum summer we had. Last week we saw YELLOW leaves flying!! IT IS COMING!!!!!!!!!! Usually the first 2 weeks of September, we kiss summer goodbye and welcome fall.........leaves falling and all the yucky rain and wind, to make the yellow leaves fly!!!! I have another job interview tomorrow. The job interview I had last week went good, but I have not heard back on that one yet. Also, the phone company where I have been filling in...... they want me for 2 weeks at the end of the month, so that will help out, but unfortunately, I need full time!!!!! Darn it SUCKS to need both of the parents now a days to be working full time for the family to survive and hopefully live in some comfort!!! Take care and have a GREAT week!!!!! -Jamie & Hunter

Hey Jamie, Happy Monday to you too! Our weekend was pretty quiet. I had planned on going garage saling also but never made it. Before I moved here I lived in Charleston SC. Me, my mom and sister use to go garage saling all the time and I sure do miss it.... I just love other peoples junk. Our summer has been HOT but then again after living in Charleston for 16 years I can handle the weather here in NC/VA. Last week we were in the 100's with a heat index between 110 to 115. It's finally 'cooled' off the last couple days with temps only in the high 80's to low 90's. During the summer here there is no such thing as a good hair day. Regardless what you do as soon as you step outside it's instint frizz and forget about makeup (since it will just melt off anyway). So needless to say I walk around with frizzy hair and no makeup. Good thing I already have a man. Good luck on your interview tomorrow. I'll be sure to say an extra prayer for you. I agree that it sucks that we need both parents working now a days. I keep telling my husband he needs to play the lottery so I can quite my job and stay home with Sarah. I'm too cheap to buy tickets myself...
