Happy Monday

Hello there!!! I hope this new week finds all of us new mommies doing well!! Hunter has his first shots on Thursday afternoon. I hope and pray that he does well. My DH Mark has returned to work today after his 2 week vacation. Hunter and I slept in and took the stroller to the store. How very exciting!!!! Have a GREAT afternoon and evening. -Jamie K.

Hey Jamie- I hope you handle Hunters first shots better than I handled Danny's. I cried my eyes out before he even let out a whimper, I wouldn't hold him down during them (made his good ol' dad hold him down) then I snatched him up first and give him all the luvin and mommy kisses I could. I'm getting to be an old pro now. Not even one shed tear! LOL Sounds great that you got out... even if it was to a local store. I have to make it a point of doing that more often but the heat is torturing me! -Janine

Hey Jamie, I remember Sarah's first shots. She did really good but I thought I was going to have to stop daddy from beating up the nurse... LOL He got so mad at that nurse for making his baby girl cry. Sarah just had her 4 month check-up and got 4 more shots. Daddy is getting better with it but mommy on the other hand is getting worse. My baby girl doesn't cry that much, just when she is tired or hungry so to hear her cry like that just kills me. But she is a strong baby and as soon as they finished the shots and I picked her up she stopped crying. By time I got her dressed she was back to smiling and laughing at daddy. Don't worry, I know little Hunter will do great. Hope you have a great afternoon too. Hugs Teresa

Teresa- I was like that too until Danny cried before the nurse even took the cap off the needle. That was my turning point and haven't looked back. Janine
