Another Newby!

Hi all, I'm Amy and have been a Post op pregnancy board member for over a year now and thought that I would come by here too! I'm 29 and was one of those people who was infertile due to obesity! Well I had my gastric bypass in December 2004 and two months later was feeling funny only to find out that I was one month pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that means that I got pregnant one month post op! It was a big suprise but a blessed one and we had a very good pregnancy even though I was high risk (because of being an insulin dependent diabetic) and my son was born on 10/24/05 (one day before my 29th birthday) by planned c-section b/c of his size. He was one week early and weighed 11.4 pounds at birth! Anyway I hope to get to know everyone when I can! I'm also a nursing student so I'm busy but like to get here online when I get a chance! Proud Mama to Gabe the Babe - 9 months old Proud Wife to Dave the Dinkabot - for 8.5 years Sleep deprived nursing student - one year left til RN and then on to Nurse Practitioner school to be an OBGYN NP - Midwife hopefully!
