Ot. Boarding schools

I've been thinking about getting my kids ready for boarding school. Has anyone ever sent their kids to a boarding school? Was it a good idea. Has anyone ever been to boarding school. I really want to send my kins when they hit high school grade. How do I get them prepared to be accepted. Do I have to send them to a private school. Financially I'm not prepared, but I'm trusting in God to be my provider.So I know that I know that I'll have the money. Jeana

Hello Jeana, I too have been considering boarding school for my son and they offer excellent educational opportunities. A good preperation is to send them to summer camps that focus on specific goals and things of that nuture, this way being away from home is not something new. I can not say that I will be financial prepared by time son reaches high school but it truly is a goal. The majority of the ones I have been researching are upwards of $21,000 a year.
