Topic: Monday: Whatcha Eating today?
So here it is, the start of another work week for those of us that work the Monday to Friday gig. . .
I had a most excellent weekend, foodwise and activity wise, so let's keep the momentum. . . here's my plan for success. . .
B: Lite W/W bread with alpine lace and pepper jack cheese melted in between slices
S: Yogurt sprinkled with a little kashi crunch cereal
L: Leftover Tuna melt from Friday night's dinner (this has given me 4 meals)
S: Service of The Better Chip with some hummus
D: Spiral Ham, corn and salad
S: Klondike bar
Thanks for participating!

GM Steffi and PA,
I am sitting in the hallway doing hall duty while make up testing is going on, YIPPEE!?!?!
Steffi, I am so glad that you had a nice day yesterday. I know that Mothers Day is a very difficult day for you! Mine was ok. Sitting here worrying about my Dad who is in the hospital with pneumonia. He is not cooperating so that makes it more difficult. After school I will be going to the hospital, so who knows what time I will get home. Hubby is picking up Dee and taking care of her this evening.
Please say prayers for my Dad.
Have a great day!
Love, Beth

Topic: Monday Monday Monday - roll call
Good morning all of PA! It is yet another Monday - but one more closer to Summer! I am sooo ready.
We spent Mother's Day down the shore for the day. It was AWESOME!!!! It was the first one since the year before my mom died that I was not sad or dreading the next activity in the day. We woke up at our friend's house and emily brought me in breakfast. SO SWEET! She was so excited about it! We then ewnt home, picked up the rest of the family, packed our bags and headed to the shore. We were accomanied by my Michael who lost him mom back in September and his dad. Everyone was in a great mood and we were all lauging and joking throughout the day. We were on the beach - while it was chilly - it was so fun. The kids all seemed to enjoy themselves and Larry, Kurt and I just enjoyed being together and watching the kids. It was a great day!
Today - I am back in paradise. joy of all joys! After school I am going to go for a run - it has been over a week. It is amazing how fast a week goes when one is so busy and can't find 45 minutes to exercise. Then tonight - dependant on the weather - the local Church is having their annual carnival. I already purchased the bands for the kids for them to go on all the rides all week, so I am hopeful that the weather cooperates. However, if this winter is any indication....well - I am screwed!
Happy Monday all! Hope your day is a good one!

I'm going to have to do that. She has a TON of Sharpies!
We didn't get around to doing any projects yesterday.. she was having an up and down kind of day, so there was no stopping at any craft stores..
We went to the cemetery and to the grocery store. Then came home, Neil made dinner on the grill (apparently a first, according to his mom and sister on my FB page). and we hung out...after dinner she had a major breakdown.
Thus, a glorious end to what started out as being a wonderful day..........

Lisa, check around on Pinterest or the web in general for a tie dye project done with sharpie markers....it looked amazingly cool on a white t shirt.

Morning all and happy mother's day to all of you who have human or fur babies.
Neil and I went out last night so we are just hanging out trying to catch up on rest for now..
He did get up early and went out and got me a card and flowers and Siehara actually wished me a happy mother's day when I went out to the kitchen for coffee. She told me not to eat b/c she wanted to make something, but I had already started something. So she made my coffee for me. She wants to go to Michael's and pick up a tie-dye kit so we can do a project together today.. oye.. of all things she wants to do, tie-dye? Well, you know.. as much as that would not be my first choice I will go and we will read the instructions to see just how much is involved cost wise and time wise. It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day, so we can go out in the grass and do it.
Before any of that, though, I want to go over to the cemetery and visit my parents and grandmother. I haven't been there in so long and there is really no excuse. I need my parents so badly with everything going on here. While I am in that neighborhood, I am going to stop by the new Dress Barn at the Sands and check it out.
Nothing else on the agenda except stopping to get cat food and some more chops to stick on the grill for dinner... hoping Neil knows something about grill cooking so I don't have to do it. He doesn't really cook in the kitchen, but maybe just maybe....
