The Place: 280 Middletown Boulevard, Langhorne, PA 19047
The time: 11:00 a.m. until approximately 1:30 p.m.
If you are celebrating a surgiversary, please bring any props (clothes worn prior to WLS, pictures), you will get 5 minutes to share what it was like, what it is like now and what you look forward to.
Normally we have a nutritionist at every meeting, however, this month they are attending a conference and won't be on hand.
We recognize that there are times when babysitting might be an issue, however, we really would appreciate not having small children there, as there are times people have a need to discuss things that having a small child there inhibits their ability to discuss things openly and also the children often are a distraction. Thank you for your understanding.
If you can't make it to our meeting this month, hope to see you soon!

I've been thinking of many of the folks that I met through Barix and would love to see people who haven't been to our meetings for quite some time.
I know how many of us struggle with keeping the weight off. Yes, we all felt an emotional high when the pounds were coming off, when the compliments were numerous and when we discovered all the things we could do having many less pounds to carry around. Time passes and even though we feel great about our accomplishments, we discover that we now have to do daily battle with our minds, and the thoughts that we have. You know the ones that I mean. They tell us we are lonely, stressed, unfulfilled, unworthy and on and on. The voice in our head tells us we will feel much better if we have that ice cream or cake or whatever. As food addicts, you know the end of the story.
Anyway, I would love to see many former Barix friends come to a meeting. Support is an important component of this lifelong commitment. Join us and share your successes and struggles.
