Good to be almost home
Hi Everyone,
I have been in Michigan for the past two weeks, helping my daughter with babysitting and housework while she worked and her husband is away on business. She is due to have my third grandchild anyday now. I would have stayed there till the baby arrived, but couldn't for a lot of reasons.
While there, I missed Spring weather. My four year old granddaughterr had a soccer game yesterday morning, and it was so cold, I was kicking myself for not having taken my down coat with me on the trip. Now, I am spending the night in Pittsburgh, and they are expecting snow tonight, into tomorrow. Argh. It's almost May, and I am freezing whenever I get out of my car.
I plan to return to Michigan in May, right after the baby arrives. I am so excited, especially since my granddaughter had the bright idea to have them keep the baby's gender a secret. Argh.
Anyway, I have missed keeping up with everyone here. I was only on my computer briefly each day. Keeping up with a two year old, four year old, dishes, laundry and sweeping kept me busy and exhausted.
Hugs,
Trish
