GM PA;

Today is work till 4.  Then home to sleep.  Yesterday had an awesome day at work.  At the last minute because of a conflict on my director's calendar I was asked to present a very sensitive and important project to a senior committee for approval of the project.  This project affects the entire enterprise.  Of course I was nervous but it is one of my projects that I've developed over the years I've been in my present department.  It was an excellent presentation and it was approved by everyone on the committee and given a high priority and must be initiated by this month February.  So those that have to write the language for the extracts I need must put my departments project to the top of their lists.  Yeah!!!!

Tomorrow my entire department is attending a women't conference in King of Prussia.  It will be nice to be out of the office for the day.

So far so good at the house, no more drama since Sunday.  We are finding cracks in the cement in the new basement in two spots and a few in the new garage floor.  So we are still taking photos and documenting all the damage the GC caused to our home.  We are still living in two rooms, with our stuff piled all around us.  It is getting to the point I've stopped cleaning and trying to put stuff away because there is just no place to move things to.  Until the house is finished it's like living in one of those horder houses with our stuff piled all around us because all the other rooms need to remain empty because they have to someday be completed.  This has now been over a year we've lost the use of our house.  It does look pretty from the outside but when you get inside the chaos becomes evident.

Hope you all have a wonderful day....

Good Morning Ida and PA Peeps to follow,
Congratulations on the work project being approved.  That is awesome.  Sorry to hear your house drama has been a year so far.  That is a shame.

I am waiting for the visiting nurse, who should be here any second.  Then, I am heading to the pain specialists' nurse practitioner for pain medication for after I am done with the pain meds from the surgeons.

This afternoon, I am getting back to work on my knitting project.

I hope everyone has a blessed day.

Hugs,
Trish

Wow Ida - I can't believe it is over a year already.  I can't wait until this is all resolved for you and you sue the pants off of the GC.  I am so looking forward to THAT story! :)

Today is more standardized testing.  My principal sent an email saying how we are to keep moving around the room.  Seriously?!?!  These kids are 8th graders and don't need me hovering around them. It is even more pressure that way. UGH!  So of course, here I am sitting at my computer - I am such a rebel! :)

Last night was a good night.  After teaching Larry picked me up and we went to watch the rest of the Flyers game with friends.  We laughed a alot and got home at a reasonable hour.  Today after school I have to rush Emily to get her hair cut and then to another salon to get my lips and brows waxed, I am starting to look more and more like Larry...and while he is cute, um....YEAH...not on me! :)  Then tonight unless I go to the market, I am laying low.

Happy February everyone! :)

Good morning all. I'm still home - it's getting a little boring since I can't drive but I'll go for a walk this morning and ride my bike - clean up - maybe do some light cleaning today.

Also want to call our buyers and get things moving with that. When I talks to them last week I was pretty out of it on pain meds so I can't remember if I was supposed to call them or what.

The only time I take the pain meds now is at night - by the end of the day my arm is pretty sore and they help me get a good nights sleep.

Trish - hope you're feeling better. Have a good day - kathy

Happy Hump day!  We had a good night last night and a good morning getting ready for school!! I got a call yesterday from the nurse at Kids Peace to get verbal consent to add Abilify to Siehara's med regimen.  I thought she should be on an anti-depressant, as did the intake counselor, so this is a good thing!  They, of course, are doing it the right way and starting out on a very low dose.. just 1mg to start.  I picked it up last night and she started it this morning.  I told her to pay attention to how she is feeling over the next couple of weeks and to let me and the people there know if something doesn't feel right.  She also got her period yesterday, so her mood is a little off.  So, we'll see if this helps.  In reading about Abilify, it also says that it is prescribed for bi-polar disorder.  I wouldn't be surprised if she has that, so if so, this should help.   Positive thoughts!!!

Today has me working as many hours as I can for Aetna.. taking advantage of the overtime, still!

I made a crustless broccoli quiche this morning and am going to do some more cooking during the day.  We have not been good about eating "real" meals and I know that is my fault for not being prepared.  So, I am trying to get some stuff made so it is in the fridge/freezer for us for easy access. My plan is to also make a crockpot stuffed pepper soup that I found a recipe for, and then to make tilapia for dinner. (yes, we are still eating from the Bat Mitzvah food!)  I bought some bacon wrapped filets that were super cheap, so that is on the menu for tomorrow and I have a recipe for roasted chicken with potatoes and shallots that I want to do probably on Sunday.  YUMMMMMMM

I didn't make it to the gym last night because I had a lot of running around to do.  I am feeling Monday's core workout in my abs still today and it is AWESOME!!  I am going back tonight for round 2!! I'm so looking forward to it!  It's a 30 minute class and hardcore!  I'll also get on a bike and do at least 30 minutes of cardio on there.

I hope everyone has a great day and things start looking up for everyone!

GM Ida and PA!!

Ida, I am so sorry that you are going through this! Any home renovation is stressful, but this is RIDICULOUS!!! I know when the house is done you will appreciate it that much more. You can think back and say, Wow, all that we had to go through to get this done!! I am hoping and praying that you will be able to say that someday SOON! Congrats on the presentation!!

Lisa, sounds like things are moving right along for Siehara!!

Today I had to get up extra early to drop Dee off for All day care at another school since schools are closed today for professional development. The school is about 10 minutes out of my way, but I still got to work with time to spare. Wor****il 3:30 then pick up child for Hebrew School, then go to my chiropractor for an adjustment. Then home to figure out what to do for dinner, I think cheeseburger pie leftovers would be a good choice?? Then wait for child to get home, feed her dinner, shower and bed!

That is it for me!!
Love to all, Beth
