Weekly check in
Just letting you know that I am comfortable with my plan right now. I don't always do it perfectly, but I'm always pretty close. I continue to weigh and measure. I'm continuing to pray for that brain/stomach connection, and am mostly getting it. When I do go off my plan, it is never a "horrible" choice -- I remain sugar free and snack-food free at a minimum. My only vice this week was eating out a couple of times, and when I did, I made healthier choices than I would have in the past -- McD snack wrap on two occasions, and Chinese food one night that I measured. My next job is to not beat myself to a bloody pulp when I do go off my plan.
Thanks for listening, and for caring.
Blessings, Jill
WLS 5/31/07. Maintaining a weight loss of 141 pounds and feeling amazing!
Jill,
Sounds like you are doing well!! The mind/body connection is the hardest for me! I also, beat myself up when I eat something I shouldn't. Then there are times when I should and don't! Go figure that one out!?!?

Go Jill!!! Keep up the good work. I have a plan for when I can go to the grocery store myself. I set a goal for after the surgery to start the plan given to me by the NUT at Barix. I knew I would not be free to use it till I was able to drive myself after my toe surgery. I am looking forward to making this attempt work, but I know it will take prayer and surrender on my part.
Keep doing what your are doing, You sound great.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
