Good Morning  PA;

Still in this blah kind of mood, can't seem to shake it yet.

Going to church today, Gene is taking the role of worship leader, I'm in the role of usher.  It will be nice to be out doing something other than worry/stress about the house.

I did make sure to close all the windows last night.  Since our house no longer has heat have to preserve the warmth as long as we can.

Hope everyone has a great day.

hi all having a 31 purse party today looks like it will be small and of course I planned too much food.

I am hoping it will help my friend Christy out she needs all the business she can get.

 Good Morning Ida and PA,
So sorry you are in a blah mood today, Ida.  I think going to church and doing service will help you tremendously.  Glad you are posting the Roll Call.

I am getting ready to pick my son up at the Trenton train station, and then we are heading down to the Linc to see the Eagles game.  My son got free tickets at work, and he is taking me.  I am privileged that he chose me, over his other friends.  Tonight, he and a high school friend are going to the Phillies game.  The friend from high school scored $40 tickets to tonight's game.

I hope everyone has a blessed day.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning. Ida I hope you feel better after church today.

It's a very dreary day - my sister and b-i-l are heading back to Maryland to see another grandchilds' hockey game. Don't envy them this trip - too nasty to be sitting outside.

As for me it will be a quiet day. Only thing I really have to do is put laundry away and then I think I'll have a close personal relationship with my couch!!

Taking my hubby to dinner tonight for his birthday - he said he wants to to to Carabba's - works for me.

Ida -
Sorry to here you are "under the weather" - but I feel your pain. These rainy days really make me blue. Partly because I miss the sun but also because fall is my favorite time of year and the trees don't look as nice with overcast skies. I keep telling myself to exercise - that should boost my mood - but can't seem to get the energy. I will try harder today.
in the meantime, hang in there. I hear we should have sunshine by Wedneday

Good afternoon all.. for those of you following or not following my kitty issues on FB, Jasper gave us a big scare Friday.  He was very lethargic and not eating or drinking most of the day.  I went out at night and when I came home at 2 am, he was still not looking good.  I decided it was time to take him to the ER.  He had a 105.5 fever.. OMG.. they said that if it was 106, he could have gone into seizures and maybe worse.  They tested him AGAIN for feline leukemia which came back negative.  They wanted to run a bunch of other tests, but they were sooo expensive so when they said that we could try antibiotics and see what happens, I went with that.  They gave him subcutaneous electrolytes to help hydrate him and sent us (yes Siehara and I were at the ER until 5Am) home with antibiotics and a syringe to force water.  Poor baby.  Yesterday he showed only a slight improvement and it was difficult to get him to drink any of the water and he didn't eat anything.

This morning, he has shown much more improvement.  He is going in the litter box.. I am bringing him to it to kind of remind him what he needs to be doing.  He ate a bit this morning.. nowhere near what he normally eats, but better than nothing.  He played a bit with Siehara earlier, as well.  He is still sleeping more than normal, but he's fighting the fever/infection, so it is to be expected.  Hopefully things will continue to improve.  Please keep him in your thoughts.

Plans for today are to organize coupons and hopefully get to the grocery store.  I also want to go to Christmas Tree Shoppes because they have a k-cup holder for $7 and it holds 24 cups.  They are normally something like $20 at any other store.  I'm hoping to get to the grocery store for a few things, as well.

Other than that, nothing going on except making sure Jasper continues to improve and finding my sweaters because it seems a *****illy these days.

Good Afternoon Ida and PA!

I slept in this morning and now I feel out of sorts and that I wasted the whole day. We had a busy, exhausting but fun day yesterday. We went to the Bensalem Community Day. We walked around for about four hours. Then we went home for a bit and both Dee and I fell asleep. We were invited over to our friends house for dinner. Steven came home from work and saw that we were both sleeping so he decided to join us. Well, I woke up around 7:30, texted my friend telling her that we fell asleep, got everyone up and then headed over there. We had dinner, then walked to see the fireworks that they have at the end of the day. We came back to their house and didn't leave until after midnight!

Today, I need to catch up on laundry, cleaning, trash, etc.  I also need to make a short trip to the store to pick up a few things. Get things ready for the week and hopefully do some relaxing.

Ida, I hope you can get out of this funk...
Lisa, I am glad Jasper is doing better!

Have a great Sunday!
Love to all, Beth
