Why I love Dr. Marymor
I wanted to post this over a week ago, but my computer was down, and I needed to replace it.
I had to have an endoscopy on the 8th of this month, and it was being done at Barix. While I was waiting in pre-op, Dr. Marymor came in to speak with a patient who was also having some procedure by my gastro doc. After he spoke with that patient, he asked my doc why I was there, then he came over and spent a good ten minutes chatting with me. He asked if it would be okay with me if he was in the OR, observing the procedure, as I had an ulcer less than a year after my RNY.
He has been more than a weight loss surgeon. He has been a caring friend. When I had my blood clots in October, he called me to check on me. When I got out of rehab 18 months ago, he called me again.
If anyone is a pre-op Barix patient, not sure what doc to choose, I highly recommend him. He genuinely cares about us long after our surgeries. I am almost five years out, and can't believe that doctors like him still exist.
Hugs,
Trish

Trish,
Everyone I know who has had him has wonderful things to say about him, so when I was left without my surgeon, I was at a loss of what to do. . . well last week I met with Dr. Marymor and he is indeed a wonderful man, he tells it like it is and no matter what makes you feel good about what you are doing. So glad he is back at Barix.
