It's been two years...
Deb, I think that "goal" is a relative term. To be at the mid range of a normal BMI - I would need to weigh about 130 lbs. I haven't weighed 130 lbs. since about 1980, and then it lasted for about 10 minutes. I'm not sure I WANT to weigh 130. My metabolism has to be different now - I've had children, grown older, messed things up with dieting and obesity, been through menopause....I mean, that "goal" seems sort of arbitrary, all things considered.
I do see people around who have made it to the 120's or 130's, and I just think "good for her." Me? I'm glad not to outweigh most of the Big Ten Defensive Line.
