Post Date: 7/7/11 8:21 am
I finally was able to switch PCP's to be able to have labwork done- 6 months late!! Anyways I would appreciate any insight on my levels, thanks! Also was told that my parathyroid level is low, but it was the same level as last year at this time, any suggestions about that, my Dr. did not say anything needed to be done.

If you doctor was not concerned about anything, then I'd say go with that, not sure there is anyone here who would challenge your doctor's assessments, the one thing I saw that you might want to increase is your vitamin D level as it was at the low normal range, you might want to take some liquid supplement and add it to something you drink to bring it up, as D is important for absorbsition of calcium and other things. . . I would also suggest that you get your bloodwork done every 6 months and keep copies of it so that you can learn to spot differences and ask questions accordingly. . .
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
