Saturday Roll Call

Today will probaby be a lie low and recover day.  Yesterday was very busy - and very good - and I have almost no energy now...plus I used up extra pain meds yesterday, so need to conserve today.

Yesterday, we started the morning with what turned out to be a long and hill-y walk through a state park.  It was gorgeous out there, sunny, mild, nice little breeze.  We ran around after that and did shopping for food and necessary's.  At the Bristol Amish Market, I picked up enough meat to be spread over 12 meals for $35!  Got some veg and whole wheat pasta in bulk, then to some bargain shops for canned beans and other good buys.  I also picked up protein shakes and bars from Walmart...hubby agreed with me that I should hide them from plain view, so he wouldn't "eat them like candy bars."

So, it's been a slow morning here.  He just left for the day and I will pace myself in getting stuff done around here, putting away the rest of yesterday's finds, doing paperwork, etc.  I'll attempt some easy stretches if at all possible.

Guess that's about it for today...

Hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful spring weather.

Lisa

Good morning everyone!!!

Ida--So sorry to hear about your dad. Sending prayers and good thoughts your way! (((HUGS)))

Liz--Happy Birthday!! Hope all your wishes come true!!!

Beth--Congrats on your two year anniversary!!! You are doing a phenomenal job!!!!!!

As for me today...up at the crack of dawn yet again on a day off...but manged to be productive at least!  Hubby and I drove out to Weaver's Orchard and went Strawberry picking at 8 am this morning. It was fun! I had never done that before..we picked the biggest juiciest strawberries ever!! I am enjoying a bowl of them right now! Heavenly!!!!!

Other than that ..may head over to the Y to either walk the indoor track while hubby gets in workout or jump in the pool since I bought my maternity bathing suit for the summer yesterday. Then just chill at home for the night.

Hope everyone has a SENSATIONAL SATURDAY!!!!

Much luv!!!

Good Morning Pa.,
Ida good luck on your exam, try and keep focused.  Prayers going out to you and your Dad and family.  Spend what time you can with him, it will mean alot to you in the future.
Trish good luck with your Scrabble game and spending time with your Mom.
Lisa have a good time at your last meeting.
Today finds me doing all the "stuff" I need to do to close up the house in Tn. till the next trip down here.  I am really torn as I want to stay, and will be able to do that sometime in the near future when my daughter makes some kind of plan for the kids daycare.  The bond I have with my grands makes it difficult to think of moving here permanently, but I will always be able to visit them.  (kind of crazy that I will be leaving Pa. and finally moving to Tn. when all is said and done, as my daughter and her family have put a bid in on a house in Pa., and will more than likely get it and move from Md. to there.
I will still take time out for fun, going to Splash County for one last time.  Will enjoy the day there and worry about the leaving when tomorrow comes.
Have a good day all.
Hugs, Ena

i played twp shows with the band this weekend already and I am actually playing my first bat mitzpah today.

I am exhausted and my legs are killing me. But I am trying to recharge.

I would think these boards would have more traffice on them.  Years ago when I went through my first VBG it was insane around here.  kinda weird to me.

I had a great photoshoot at my studio yesterday and hopefully I'll find some me time.

i hope you all have a wonderful day.
