Open letter to Dr Brader's Patients
Today I am officially an ex-LGH employee. However, I am not an ex-bariatric surgeon. I remain a member of the LGH medical staff with full privileges. I am also currently pursuing staff privileges at the Heart of Lancaster. I am 100% committed to beginning a new bariatric surgical program in Lancaster County and have absolutely zero plans to leave the area.
Beginning , in mid-to-late July, my new practice and program will begin seeing old and new patients. If surgery was scheduled for anyone in May or June with me, I will prioritize your surgery immediately after the office and practice opens its doors. If you are a preop patient and would like to continue with me, please request your complete and original office records. If you are a postop patient, please request your complete and original office records. I will provide an address where the information can be forwarded later this week. Records cannot be sent directly to you because of the psychological evaluations that each of you had done.
I also want to make clear the program fee policy at BPS and LGH which was established by me. As long as you maintain contact with the program for five years around the scheduled appointment times, 2wk,6wk,3mo,6mo,9mo,1yr,18mo,2yr,3yr,4yr and 5yr, you get a program fee refund. You do not have to be seen in person at the facility, but you can have your information sent by a health care provider to the program to satisfy the followup requirements.
I look forward to seeing all of you again. I also want to thank each of you for all of your support. It was truly a comfort to me and my family during this most difficult time.
If any of you have a problem, question or need advice, I can be reached at [email protected] or by cell 215-805-1149
