Day 17 of 90. May 17th. Sweating to the oldies?
I wrote sweating to the oldies because of what a guy said to me last night. I was at volleyball and one of the guys on my team took a look at our team and said "we have got a lot of old guys on our team." Old??? Im not old jackass! Speak for yourself. I wast really upset but the guys is a douche so anything he says kind of rubs me the wrong way. Regardless of his comments I have o say I had a pretty good workout at volleyball last night. we got in about 8 games over 2 hours. The cool part is that even though I am a little sore this mroning, I am not nearly sas sore as I have been in the past. Maybe I am getting used to this thing called exercise. whoo hoo. Old people get sore...not me. LOLOLOLOL
Tonight will be some p90x if the science projects allow.

You know it took me to wait for my kids to be grown to finally do something for myself regarding my weight. It's nice to see people like yourself who can do both. For whatever reason I always had excuses that were based around my kids.
Anyway, this morning since it was so miserable outside, I went to the gym. Did the elliptical for 30 minutes then a 30 minute weight circuit. Had a good long stretch when I was done.
I am writing this during my lunch hour. As soon as I'm done, I am going outside for a walk before I rans again. I should be able to get in 30 minutes.

42 minute 5k this morning (in the rain - yuck!)
And I did about 45 minutes of bicep/upper body lifting over lunch today.
And on that note, I am done for the day!
I have noticed two things since I started the morning running and weights:
1. I sleep like a champ, and wake early and refreshed.
2. My bowels are synched with the Atomic Clock. I am more regular than the word regular itself. It's awesome.
Remember, nothing shuts up a douchebag like being called a douchebag.

Miss Slacka$$ reporting in for duty, sir - oh wait, by calling you sir does that infer that you're OLD?? Hmmm.... Well, regardless, you're definitely younger than ME so see it as a sign of the utmost respect.
The dog is playing all day at Fuzzy Butts so if it's raining tonight there will be no walk - instead I will do double-duty on the bike and leg exercises. You know, I dusted off a hoola hoop somebody gave me for m birthday last year - maybe I'll whip that sucker around my hips and give it a go. If I don't report in tomorrow it's because I'm in the ER with damage to these old bones!! That won't be easy to explain, will it!?
Great job keeping up the thread, Swede.
I am an emotional wreck today. I'm still dealing with financial stress. Then, I went to Back to Basics and just didn't want to be there.
I WILL go to the gym. I'm in for an hour of Body Pump and an hour of Pilates.
It seems that my exercise is the only thing I have control over anymore.
