Update on Dr Brader
I'm really sorry to hear that Dr B is leaving - I know how upset I was when I heard Dr Boe left Barix and the Dr P people were also very distraught. It almost sounds like bariatric surgeons work under different contracts than other surgeons? But LGH is losing a wonderful man - I saw him at the PA meeting in Lancaster the other year when he was a guest speaker and I was very impressed with him.
I guess it's no surprise that support group last night ended as a total "crash and burn". And the person LGH sent to schmoooooooz the crowd ............. tried to treat a rather large group like we were children. She was like the politician who never answers the damn question. I don't know if she was incompetent, or if LGH just screwed up and assumed we'd just shrug it off as no big deal. After about 20 minutes of bull#$%^ a few folks let some anger fly .......... HATE when I do that. I tried to get the thoughts out ......... a little emotion came with it. Oh well, chit happens!!
i am in no way surprised as to what has happened at LGH with Dr B. They have shown me over and over that they do not understand nor care about the patients real needs. I am also not surprised that stacy was the one to deliver the news. I am thankful that the universe saw fit to keep me from being a part of that program professionally. It is a shame but he is a good surgeon and will find his way to something else. This will be the second program that I have been through with Dr Brader. for some reason WLS tend to move around. I dont know why. I am very sad for all of those who were waiting for their surgeries. I am sad for that new surgeon i bet he never dreamed he would be in the hot seat. It is all very sad
