is my first surgical consult, i did all my pre stuff and i'm quite excited about my journey. one thing i wonder though if when the doc reports the results of my bloodwork and my body for instance aborbs much more food than the average person which is why i've struggled with my weight my whole life, once i get a bypass and do everything correctl and healthy and i'm older and wiser and now know what to eat and get plenty of exercise (like i am now) what if it stops working after a few years? say i hold steady at 150 for a couple of years and then start gaining? i think right now after all my research that is what i'm most afraid of.
