Back to Basics Tuesday

Okay peeps... this is it.  Today starts my Back to Basics program at the hospital.  This also means that I am getting my ass in gear in regards to my food starting NOW!  I am going to go back to logging everything on Sparkpeople... ok, I'll be honest.  I am going to LOG my food on Sparkpeople, not go back to it.  I know they are going to be looking for a food log, so I'm going to do it.

I know I can be successful at this because they are going to be watching me.  I will have someone else to be accountable to besides myself.  I don't know if they are going to be weighing us, but if they are not, I am going to ask them to either weigh me or ask me at each session about the scale.  I need that accountability to someone else, I guess.  I know I am just as important if not more, but somehow knowing someone else is watching the scale makes it more pertinent.

Anyway... today.. working 6-12:30 and 3-4:30; Back To Basics program is 1-2:30.  After work, taking Siehara to Hebrew School. I'll hit the gym for cardio while she is there.  After Hebrew School, over to the other gym for Pilates.

Home to relax, play on FB and head to bed.

What are you doing today?

GL and I too wanna hear about it.  Last week was a downer for me.
Bad food not enough exercise = weight gain!!  No really it does... who knew.

Soooo since Inertia is a PITA.. I need to make my rolly polly butt move.  So decarbing for the next couple of days and MORE exercise.

I agree with you.. I need that accountability also  (thus why I torture myself by signing up for runs)

You can do this Lisa.. We can do this togehter.  Details on the class later for us please.

Morning all - it's been a long, crappy winter again, and I know that's been part of my problem - not enough daylight and obviously not enough exercise, but I'm getting back in the groove with going to PT. Good luck at the B2B, Lisa  - I wish you all the best.

I'm at work - could have stayed home and slept in - hit the snooze 3 times and am still a tad foggy, but got up around 12:30 and took 2 Aleve. yes, I know these are not good for us, but I was in so much discomfort that I couldn't get comfortable. PT kicked my arse yesterday - and I'm sure that sounds a bit strange but honestly I get a great work-out when I go there - start on the bike, do all of my exercises and finish on the eliptical (takes me an hour) - yesterday John upped my ankle weights and raised the step - the combination of both really worked me. Got home and walked the dog after I made dinner, then went to the grocery store and unloaded all that when I got home because my nephew was out and my husband is still hobbling around.

So today I get to play and set up my new iPhone 4, and transfer my 3 to the hubby - have to check on some items I put on Craig's List - I've had some interest but am a rookie when it comes to posting items on there so I need to figure out what's going on.

And that's it for me today - Swede, I'm having my sfvic and thinking of you if you're out there!!

Hey Lisa good luck with your program I am hoping some day to offer one like it. Gotta work on me first.

Did not sleep well last night at all will be a long day today. I am at work and things are sucky. Our director's last day was to be this Friday but our corporate boss in all his dumb ass wisdom decided to come in and tell her tdoay is her last day. he does not think how his decisions impact everyone. So now me and my boss who thought we had this week to BREATHE until she leaves are in panic mode.

My plan is to go to the gym again after work today, and I have an OA meeting tonight. I am going to keep going even though i dont like them. I realize that I need to just do as I am told and be compliant. The more I try and comply with the healing process the worse my eating gets. Guess that food addict in me is putting up a fight.

Stay dry today and enjoy. Hope that you get what you need today

Good girl Lisa - Proud of you baby!

I am at school and completely and utterly miserable.  We had such a night with Molly last night - she decided that things were so bad that she decided to just leave the house.  I had no idea.  I was up in my room straightening and came down to look for her - found her sitting on the porch doing homework - I left her alone just knowing where she was.  I went back to my room, came down about 8ish and couldn't find her anywhere.  Of course, Larry was working.  So I called her and for the next hour texted with her back and forth that I needed to know where she is.  She finally told me where she was, I went to get her and then she came home and went directly to bed.  Larry and I fought all night - THAT was a joy and here I am exhausted, Molly is at school and I am waiting to hear from her counselor at school.

Other than that excitement - I have Hebrew School and Confirmation Academy tonight.  And then oh joy - Larry is home so we get to continue the "Conversatio" later on.....Should be a BANNER day! :)

Happy Wednesday!

Good Morning Lisa and PA!!

Lisa, I am with you on the B2B, but I am doing it on my own! Yesterday I began really listening to my body and when it was full. I ate small, frequent meals and got most of my fluid in. I also did a mile on the treadmill while I was watching my soap on PVR! YEAH ME!!!

Today is going to be a BUSY day! Wor****il 3:30, then I have to stop at the walmart to pick up somethings, then home to make dinner, pick up the girls, homework, bath, bed. I was going to go to rehearsal but I have not had a chance to look at the music which by the way is kick ass hard! So, I think I will go next week...

Have a great day!

Love, Beth

Good Morning Lisa,
I had the Munchkins and family here for dinner last night.  We had fun with a craft I bought, and also walking down by the river.  The firefighters down the street gave them firefighter hats, which I thought was so sweet.  These are the guys that give Utley treats when we go down there.

Today, I already walked Utley, and had breakfast.  I am going to be heading to pick up Isabel, so Colleen can take Lincoln to the doctor's office, and then head with my Munchkin to a pain specialist appointment to talk to the nurse practitioner.   Then, I will meet my daughter and grandson at the Oxford Valley Mall to do some shopping and have lunch at the food court.  Then, I will be coming home to keep my foot up for a little while.  I think we will go somewhere for dinner this evening.

Good luck with your new program.  I hope it works for you.

Hugs,
Trish
