Frozen Friday Roll Call

Trish.. I hope you are feeling better this morning. 

I'm up, got the girl(s) off to school...no, not confused.  This is the meeting place in the morning b/c we are the closest to the bus stop.  So, on any given morning there are 1 or 2 extra girls in my apartment before 7 AM.

Today is the 25th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion.  I remember being in middle school in the cafeteria when it happened.  Nothing more eerie than over 300 middle schoolers being completely quiet.   I'll be thinking of the astronauts and their families today as I go through my day.

No work for me today.  I have a doctor's appointment this morning and then I am taking my computer to a friend's shop where he can hopefully fix it.  He told me if it's not too bad, he won't charge me.  So, let's hope it's nothing bad. 

At some point, I need to pick up a few things at the store and do some more research on new tires.  It's going to be more of an issue than I originally thought b/c I forgot that the car has low profile tires and fancy rims on it currently (came like that from the dealer)  So, I will either need to replace whatever tires are bad with low profile tires, or (preferably) replace all four and get cheap hubcaps for them.  Stupid fancy stuff making my life more difficult.  I would like to replace all four with regular tires and get hubcaps and then sell the rims. Hopefully I can find someplace reasonable.  I know NTB is having some sort of tire sale this weekend.  I'm going to go over there today to get more details.  

Tonight is up in the air.  Siehara MAY be sleeping over at her friend Julie's house tonight.  That will depend on how Julie's mom is doing.  She had some breast reconstruction (revision) surgery yesterday-- breast cancer--  She told me she is fine with the sleepover as long as she is feeling 1/2 normal.  If she goes there, then I will defnitely find somewhere to go out.  I won't go out too late b/c I am doing the reading at synagogue tomorrow that requires me to be somewhat alert and be able to sing.  If she does not go, we will probably just stay home and relax since we have synagogue and then will be traveling into Philly for Steffi's party tomorrow night.

Good Morning all.

I just got my big boys off to school. I have been up studying for a Bio quiz that I will be taking later on today.

This evening I am working. Tomorrow I have class in the morning in Harrisburg, then a free afternoon before we head to my BIL's 50th B-day celebration. Johnny says we are going on a "date" after that, but truthfully, I'd be fine with just going home and going to bed. I'm not really into doing much lately.

Good morning everyone!
I just got home from the gym a few minutes ago.  After I get ready I need to run a few places, stop and get weighed at my surgeons, stop at the store to pickup a few things to send to my brother in the military (he's in Afghanistan), then the post office, and then come home and get to bed.  I'm exhausted!  Even though I'm out of work for a few weeks right now, I still keep my same up at night, sleep during the day schedule.

So glad that you got help digging out Trish.

I am at work today until 1 then going to the hematologist for a follow up, the grocery store for a few items, stopping to grab something for dinner, and home to meet my Aunt, I am inheriting 2 12 year old girls for the weekend (God help me! lol) acutally they are a huge help with Mia.

Safe travels all! There are still some roads out this way (Horsham) that have barely been touched.

Woke up early due to soreness from all the shoveling yesterday. Dee woke up right after me. Gave her breakfast and now I am eating mine!

Today, I want to run some errands but I am debating whether to go or not. I was watching the news this morning and there were TWO overturned cars on 95. The road was clear but obviously icy. So, if a main road is icy, I can only imagine what the side roads are like! See how I feel. I also need to pay bills and do some baking....

Tomorrow, going to spend some time with Steffi and friends....I guess we will be parking on snow drifts! Philadelphia is NOT well known for plowed side streets!! Good thing I have an SUV!! If anyone wants to carpool let me know!

Good snowy morning all - you take it easy out there Trish - sometimes storms like this can bring out the best in people - I'm so glad you're surrounded by people willing to help you out.

We didn't go to work yesterday but came in today - late. The roads by my house were awful when I went out yesterday afternoon to run an errand, so we waited until it was daylight to come in. Very glad we did.

Not much on my agenda today - work - home - tomorrow night we're meeting friends for dinner and maybe getting together with other friends on Sunday - haven't heard from them yet.

Stay safe out there everyone...and get ready for another stinking storm blowing in next week.

Good Morning All,

   Sorry for those sore from shoveling yesterday I stayed in the house and Den did the clean up he was whipped he was in bed at 7:30 last night. He is such a good guy to me.

  Got into work around 20 minutes late the roads were not the gretest at all out there so I told my boss I am here but will be leaving early. I think around 4 will do it just right since I need to go home get ready for a dinner I'm attending tonight. Then if we can make it we were invited to 2 friends birthday gatherings. We will see how things play out for us as the night progresses.

Tomorrow I have a hair appointment then veg in the afternoon then make my way to Steffi's house then must leave early because I have to work tomorrow night a 5 hour party DJing. If I didn't need the extra money I would bail on th job but my money tree has died so work I must.

Today in work I must pay bills it has been oure laziness on my part.

Speaking of DJing, I may have a job for you! Deanna's afterschool is having a dance in March. I will check to see if they found anyone yet....if not I will need to get your info! Dumb iphone erased some of my contacts AGAIN!!
