Frozen Friday Roll Call

Good Morning PA,
It's been awhile since I started Roll Call.  I woke up in pain, and cannot get back to sleep.

Friday has me heading to the hematologist's to get my weekly bloodwork done.  Gotta check my INR, Coumadin, level.  From there, to the bank to finally open a savings account.  Then, to my doctor's to pick up a prescription that can't be called in, or faxed.  It's for a 90 day supply, mail order Rx.  I also must hit the grocery store for some food, and household cleaners.

I am so grateful for my landlady and a neighbor for helping me dig my car out from our latest deluge of snow.  There is no way I could have done it alone, with my back issues, and these two kind people helped me willingly, and so kindly.  I am truly blessed to be living where I am.

Stay warm, and drive carefully.  Most major roads are clear, but the side streets are a mess.

Huggles,
Trish

Good morning Trish and all who venture over here - I am up too - gotta love snow days.  I know the roads are fine and the teachers could have gotten in, however, I am sure there are reasons throughout the city that the schools are closed again.  I am not complaining.  Two weeks til the Bat Mitzvah and still have a list an arms length long!  I also have to get my grades done and processed by Saturday night.  Was supposed to be last night, but because of the weather they extended it til Saturday?!?!  I have no idea why the weather affected how people put the grades in the computer - but it gave me a few extra days - so I will take it! :)

So - I am going to head back to bed in a few, get up and surely play some games on facebook - still trying to knock that darned Norm off the leaderboard in Zuma Blitz, and eat some breakfast - then I WILL get things done for school AND the Bat Mitzvah.  I also have some major straightening up to do as I am expecting people over this Saturday for a 31 Gifts demonstration by our own Lisa Schnibbe Hunt.  Feel free to come over at 4ish - PM me if you want to head into the northeast!

Tonight I have a dinner planned and then hopefully home at a decent hour to spend time with Larry and the kids - well Larry anyway - the kids just come with the package! :)

Hope your Friday is not so frozen and that your weekend is fun and exciting!

Good Morning Trish and PA. Trish sorry you woke up in pain but very happy that you have people around you willing to help you out when you need it. Of course you give to others so others give to you.

I am at work kind of a light day on tap so that is good. Chiropractor visit and boy do I need it. Today will be putting together some hand outs for people here at work, We will be starting a Biggest Loser Competition on Tuesday and I am excited I really need some motivation.

I have been working on my lessons in the book a Course in Weight Loss by Marianne Williamson and I am pretty happy what what I am learning. Yesterday I created an altar at home for myself, a alternative to the kitchen which has been my altar for so long. It was fun making it and I put things on it that I believe in, not necessarily God or religous items but things I truly belive in. It is beautiful  and I enjoy sitting at it.

I hope you all have a safe and warm day. Man it is cold and the snow is piled up higher than my head. Guess it will be awhile til spring

Hi all,

I'm in a pickle.  We are in the process of moving into a new place and hubby just got offered a job in NC.  Yikes!  What to do....

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Good Morning Trish & PA;

I'm getting ready to head into work.   After two days home I do need to be able to access the rest of the programs to be able to get something done today.

If I see any snow this afternoon as the weather people are predicting,  I'll be heading home, do not want to get caught in a rush hour that is crazy because it is snowing out there.   Otherwise I'll work till 4 then head home.   Planning to fire up the treadmill once I get home.

Yesterday helped Gene shovel the sidewalk and the cars out.  Then half the driveway when our neighbor came out and told us the guy that plows our driveways would be out.

Stay warm, drive safe for those heading out to work.

Good morning PA and happy Friday! I am headed in to my 3 rd day of meetings...today's topic is technology and report analysis. Thrilling huh? I think I would rather go home and clean my house!

Hope to catch the 3:45 train to Lancaster, clean off the car, and head home. I promised to make an easy dinner for Mike since he will be working late tonight.

Tomorrow I will clean and organize something (so many options). I want to put some stuff on Craigslist. When in Florida i had great success selling items that were left in the house therer and sort of got into the spirit of it all!

My gym is rolling out some new classes so I may spend a couple of hours there on Sat. As well.

Getting ready to head in to work.. I am sore from shoveling yesterday - Mark is getting a snow blower whether he wants one or not!!  16 inches total - love the way it looks.. but geez.

Trish - am glad you have good neighbors - it is so important - our neighbor helped us dig out mount everest at the base of our driveway that was built by the plow and he did our walks with his snowblower - good neighbors are a blessing!

Am working today, god knows I have to catch up after losing parts of the past two days (I don't work, I don't get paid.. so snow is not a friend to my wallet!)

running errands after work and may catch up with a friend later tonight.. that's all for me today..

Am heading to lunch with friends tomorrow and then to the 31 party tomorrow at Steffi's tomorrow and then to dinner at a friends (also in the NE) - so tomorrow is jam packed - Nothing really planned for Sunday - maybe Mark and I will go skiing????  nice new snow out there in the poconos...? I'll have to check what they got..

Anyway - have a great day PA!

xoxo,

Maura

Good Morning Trish & PA!
It is cold & snowy here also.  The kids had no school scheduled due to a records day.  I work all day.  Tim will drop Caleb off at winter camp at 4. Have a great Friday!
