I'm jealous of your fruit in your menu!

Over 6 years later, and there's still not ONE fruit I can eat with dumping. In fact, I dump worse on Natural Sugars that processed ones.......go figure!

Also glad you are so happy with the results of your procedure! Can't wait to see pics after healing process is done. The pics already are amazing.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I don't eat fruit very often since Dr. Marymor told me it was a carb I could do without.  I had a yen for pineapple and one of the girls in the office told me how to pick a sweet one.  Thought I'd give it a try and she was right.  Its just a change of pace for me.

Good Morning All,

Started my day at the gym worked with the trainer for 30 minutes did a circuit with 6 rotations. Then did 30 minutes of cardio on teh bike.

Now in work bored once again but need to do a few personal phone calls. After work think I may go get my nails done since they are way over due to be done. Then home to cook dinner then curl up with Den since it is TV night. Then hit bed early it will be a busy weekend to say the least.

Had small protein bar before work out, then once in work had a lit breakfast sandwich, lunch is turkey chop, garlic rice and quinoa and aspargus. Dinner is pork chops with teters and a veggie to be determined. Snacks will be something in the way of 100 calorie packs.

Good Morning Norm and PA!!

Well, yesterday I did not get the nap that I soooo wanted!! Instead, Dee and I went out with one of her friends and her mom. We went to Barnes and Noble, then to lunch, then to Childrens Place. We came home and the girls played for awhile. I watched my soap on DVR, then I decided to make a pb banana bread since I had bananas that were ripe for the pickin!! Boy, did it turn out YUMMY!!!!  I tried to take a nap, but I just couldn't do it!! So, I skipped Dinner and fell asleep on the couch AGAIN! Woke up around 11:30 and went to bed....I so wanted a delayed opening, but we got a day off yesterday, so I don't want to ask for too much!!

Today is wor****il 3:30, then home to relax, dinner, homework, getting things ready for tomorrow, then FB time and bed.

Pretty much it for me!

Have a great one!!!!!

Beth

Good morning Norm and PA,

Well, yesterday I said I was going to go to the gym last night. NOT!  Got home from work after stopping at Giant for a yummy salad.  Then sat my butt on the couch reading till about 7:40 when I had to go pick up my son from work.

Today is the usual boring stuff, work till 5 then home for dinner.  I did go to the gym this morning. 30 mins on elliptical then used the lower body machines then a good stretch.

Breakfast: protein shake
snack: light mini baby bell cheese and apple
Lunch: tuna sald on half flatbread and clemintine
snack: yogurt

Dinner: pork chops and saurkraut (in crock pot right now) and some green veggie

Hope everyone has a good day.  Stay warm!

Good morning all! Checking in this morning out of sheer boredom. My lack of adult interaction is mind-numbing today.

I had an upper endoscopy on Monday. Turns out I HAD an ulcer which led to dropping 14 pounds in 21 days. puking almost daily. hurt when I ate. But kegs of carafate later and I'm doing much better. Now I'll be on Prilosec for life. C'est le vie...first problem I've had since surgery. Not so bad. I can really do without the puking tho.

Life in general is ok...it's tax time. I hate tax time. 3 work-for-myself-jobs = too much crappy taxes to tackle.

I read thru the posts and I think I'll go figure out a good taco soup recipe. Sounds PERFECT. YUM!!!

Great days to all!

 Good Morning Norm,
I started my day with taking Utley to doggy day camp, as I have a lot to do today.  I then got my bloodwork done, which has been weekly since leaving the hospital with a blood clot.

I have to finish taking my tree down, and then pack everything up to take back to my storage unit.  problem is, I am having trouble staying awake.

I have to go to my therapy appointment later this afternoon.  Then, I will pick Utley up from camp, and come home and catch up my sleep.

Have a good day.

Trish

Jude's doggy daycare is closed this week and he's really missing it - plus with all the ice and snow I'm not able to walk him as much as usual, so he's really missing a lot of activity this week, poor little guy!

I totally relate to the not walking him as much.  I thought I was going to be skating last night when I walked Utley last night.  Not to mention how wicked cold it is outside.

Sorry your puppy is not able to go to camp this week.  My guy loves it there, and they love him.  He just craves all the attention they lavish on him big time.

Hugs,
Trish

Just a thought, but if you're tense and nervous when walking for fear of falling you may be tensing up your back and that's causing your pain to flare up. I know it happens with my knees - I'm so afraid of falling that I stiffen up, then pay for it later. So be careful out there. I'm sure the cold isn't helping either.

I know some of my friends think I'm nuts for taking Jude to Fuzzy Butts, but he loves it there too and gets tons of exercise and play time instead of being stuck in the house all day. It's well worth the money.
