Since it's going to be cold and snowy tomorrow I'm going to share the recipe for my dinner.  I got this recipe from a co-worker on weigh****chers.  It's really is a good hearty meal for a cold snowy day!

I double the recipe and slow cook it in the crock pot all day.  My family loves it.

Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey or lean beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 (1 oz.) package hidden valley ranch dressing mix
1 (1 oz) package taco seasoning Mix
1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans
1 (16 oz) can chili beans (either hot or regular)
1 (16 oz) can whole kernel corn
1 (8 oz) can Mexican-style tomatoes
1 (8 oz) can diced tomatoes (any flavor)

Brown meat & onions and drain.
Mix Ranch & Taco seasonings into meat.
Add rest of ingredients, undrained to mixture.
Simmer 1 hour.
2 Weigh****chers points per cup.

That sounds so good!! I may have to try this one.

I love my crockpot and I think I may actually have all of these ingredients on hand.. well, not Mexican tomatoes, but I have a can of chilis that I could throw in.

My kids Love Taco soup. I hake the on from Bariatriceating.com. But it's almost the same thing. It's so yummy!

Get some shredded cheese to top it off with! Mmmmmmmmm

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Yum.
Sounds good, and easy enough for a non cook like me. Maybe this weekend.

DianeMarie!

Thank you so much for positng this.   I got this recipe years ago when I was a member of WW.  I use to make it all the time, however, I didn't put any meat in it.   I would freeze it and bring it out when ever I got hungry for it.

I also would put a little FF shredded cheese on it, and instead of sourcream, I used cottage cheese as a little topper.

I just tried to make it a couple weeks ago from memory, and it turned out pretty good.   I have copied it and put it in my recipe binder.

Thanx Again!
