Marvelous Monday Roll Call

Good morning Steffi and PA.  I am working from home today-- we did not get much snow but I am still sick and I am feeling worse 7 days in to my antiobiotic than I did before so I have been having trouble getting moving in the mornings.  This bronchitis has really got a hold of my chest and every time I try to sleep I cough and I am just miserable.

Oh well, the benefit to the new job is the ability to work from home!  Not much going on as every one of my counterparts is out this week.  That means I am serving as back up so I need to be able to monitor any issues. Other than that, should be pretty boring.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Steffi and PA,
Yes, it is gorgeous out there here in Bucks County, but the wind is wicked.  I already walked Utley once, and he loves the snow.  I also began the process of digging out my car.  Got one tire cleared, but was too cold to finish the job.  I had to reschedule two of my appointments as a result of this storm.  One is with a podiatrist, as I have a hammer toe, and my new boots hurt when I walk.  Not good.

I got a new panini/grill/waffle maker for Christmas, so today I am going to learn how to use it, and dig up recipes for it.  It is also a griddle.

Other than walking Utley, and digging out my other tire, I have no other specific goals....oh, I have laundry to put away.

My life is very boring, but I enjoy most of it.

Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning Steffi & Friends,

We did a round of shoveling last night, but the wind makes it look like we haven't even started.  We suited up in our ski gear, shoveled, then went for a walk, then I made a snow angel (I am a big kid).  I tried to start a snowball fight with Mark, but it was not good packing snow :(

We are poking around the house today (well, actually not yet - we are still snuggly drinking coffee and deciding when we will get moving.. I love snowy days off :).  If the State of Emergency gets lifted in NJ, we will spending the night at my brothers tonight because we are taking my niece and her boyfriend skiing tomorrow.  It should be fun as it is their first time going!  I am looking forward to going as well as I think I will have a bit more stamina than in previous years!

That's it for us...

have a great day all!

I hope you enjoy your ski day! I used to LOVE to ski, and I haven't been able to do it in 15 years. Next year I am DEFINITELY getting back on the slopes!!!

Good morning -
And a sneezy, sniffling, coughy morning it is. I legitimately could have called out sick this morning, but for some reason - here I am. Snow was up to my car windows so it took almost an hour to get dug out. I was pretty pleased to note that this year, unlike last year and 100+ pounds ago, it didn't kick my ass too bad.

Now that I am at work, I'm actually pretty bored. Most of our carriers/vendors are based out of NYC area and are all closed today so there is little I can get done. Poking around on OH on the work computer, and Facebook on my phone.

Working through lunch so I can leave at 4 to try to get a parking spot at home. Ah, the joys of Philly apartment living. Work your ass off to get your car out, just to come home and find another spot to dig back into 3 blocks away. Rinse and repeat for the balance of winter.

I hope you all have a glorious day!
