Tantalizing Tuesday!
Morning everyone.. up and working trying to meet a deadline for some work I have that needs to be done before the end of day today.
The cable company will be here sometime between now and the end of my life, I mean 12-4, to find out what's up with the signal to my digital box. While they are here, I'm sure they will have to disconnect the cable. That will mean disconnecting the internet for a time, too. So, I need to get as much done as possible now.
After work, I'll take Siehara to Hebrew School and then head to Bethlehem Gold's for a ride on the bike or a walk on the treadmill.
From Hebrew School, we'll head back to Whitehall Gold's for Pilates.
Tonight, if I don't get everything I need to get done for work, I'll get back online and finish up. Otherwise, I'll relax until bedtime.
What's up with everyone else today??
Heading out in a few minutes to have blood work done and then pick up some stuff to make SF goodies for Thanksgiving.
Been pretty busy lately. We spent this past weekend in NJ, metal detecting with a group of people we met recently. One of the guys needed to use up his airline miles, so he provided hotel rooms for 2 nights for all of us. It was a great weekend; we were going non-stop the whole time, detecting for 4+ hours every day.
I start my new job next Monday and am looking forward to it. I went to Goodwill yesterday and bought some clothes, mostly pants, for work. I need to get some shoes---all of my shoes are too big. I'll do that today and maybe get a Christmas gift or 2 for Anson while I'm out.
Have a great day, my friends!!
Good Morning Lisa:
I'm getting ready for work. Have a dentist appointment this morning, having some problems with the work that was done in the past couple of weeks. Doc called me yesterday morning and said he would like to take a look to be sure all is healing as it should. After the dentist heading into work, will probably work till about 5 today. Gene has a very late night tonight - he sees his clients at the local mental health facility today, then has his private clients tonight.
Last night class was pretty good. We met our new instructor, she seems too laid back and easy, however this could be deceiving. Instead of writing 3 major papers as the syllibus states she's changed the assignments to one working in a group to present a powerpoint based on a supreme court case involving the managed care industry, then the last two are also solo powerpoint presentations, one based on interviewing an executive in the managed care industry, and the last researching one of the topics that were divided up last night. I'm not happy with my topic, but I'll be researching something I have some familiarity with although not a lot so I'll learn something out of this. Isn't that the point of higher education......
Hope everyone has a great day.....

Another long day at work for me! I will be working 10 hour days Monday-Wednesday to make up some of the time I will be off for Thanksgiving. The joys of PTO! After work I don't really have anything planned. Maybe I will go to the gym for a workout with my son and then head home to relax and watch some Biggest Loser. Another interesting fact in the life of Todd is that I think my dog has developed a fear of windy nights. She was up crying at 3:30 am! Normally I wouldn't mind as much except that I have to get up at 4:30 this week for work...ugh. Anyway, enough complaints from me.
New topic. Is it just me or is anyone else excited about black Friday? I have a little extra cash burning a hole in my pocket and I cant wait to go get some stuff. I cant decide between about 4 different things I want. Hmmm choices, choices. I'm also trying to figure out if I will be able to just stay home that day and buy the same things on-line. So confusing. If anyone out there has the answers for me I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. I didn't mean to capitalize that but I'm going to leave it that way, lol.
Ok, holiday shoppers, thats it for me! have a great day everyone!
