Wednesday's Cold Morning Roll Call

Good morning everyone.  Just let all three of my dogs out and pushed the sliding glass door shut real quick!  Its cold out there!  Last year I posted here I needed flannel lined dungarees for riding well I am sorry I need them for everything.  Ifs officially winter in my house.  The heat is on and I am ever grateful for Pam turning me on to my heated mattress pad.  I now have the heated mattress pad on, the electric blanket, down comforter and a fleece blanket and flannel pajamas on. Hell I am cold!  I am going to Career Link today for resume class and coming home to do a few things and going back out for barn duty and trust me I will be moving fast to do that.  Everybody stay warm and have a great day.  Get those sweaters and winter coats and gloves out. Throw another log on the fire.

Hi all,

Today is a toughy.  Auctioneer is coming to get  a lot of mom's stuff to auction off so we can get caught up on some bills and get a little savings.  I think it is time to downsize anyway.  House is being sold.  Time to find a new home.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

So sorry for you. Sounds like a toughy! None of that sounds good. Chin up. It will get better. Think of it as a new start.

Good Morning PA,
I hate having to walk my dog in this cold stuff, but am grateful for long johns and a long wool coat.

Today has me working on Izzy's princess gown.  Also, I am now selling Avon,  so if anyone wants my website to order from let me know.

Hugs,
Trish

Morning Linda... glad to see you posting again.  I'm glad I don't have to go out in the mornings for the most part.  As long as Siehara does not miss her bus, I can stay inside where it's warm.  I'm also grateful that I don't pay the electric here so I don't have to skimp on the heat if it is needed.

Today has me working til 3:30.  Right after work, I have to jet out of here to get Siehara to a 3:45 appt with the dr to find out what's up with these headaches.  While we are there, I am going to have them check out her ankle again because it's still giving her some problems.  I will also have them give her her flu shot or mist.

From there, we will come home for dinner and then head out for her med check with the psychiatrist.  Hopefully, we won't have a repeat of last time and it will be a quick in and out visit.  I don't think I'll be able to get to the gym, so I'll make a serious effort to do something here.  I'm thinking my yoga/pilates workout that I have recorded.

Stay warm everyone!!

ETA: Please keep my friend Juan Gonzalez in your prayers.  He lost his other half, his partner, his lover, his best friend to that terrible disease called Cancer.  Todd is out of pain as of 7:30 this morning.  Juan is trying to handle it the best way he can and joked with me that Todd is probably enjoying his first beer in many many months.  My heart goes out to Juan and the rest of Todd's family in this time of need.

Glad to be back Lisa, dealing with alot of stuff.  You look marvelous dahling you and Steffi!  I can remember when I first met you.  My deepest sympathy to your friend Juan for his loss.  Nasty stuff that cancer.  My Heather just turned 16 and I think I am the one who needs meds!  I am serious!  What a hag!!!!  Seems like the only time we get along is when we are out horseback riding together and that's only because I threatened to knock her off of her horse.  No wonder hamsters eat their young.  Don't laugh Liz this is what you have to look forward to.  I don't have to go out to walk my dogs we have an acre and a half of yard so I open the door and slide it shut til they come back but its still too damn cold for me and will be even colder when the days go by.  Let me know what the Dr said is up with Siehara's headaches Heather has had those also just curious poor kids wait til they ugh you know....take care.

Good morning PA!

Last night was Bollywood dance again, it is so much fun, and a great workout!  Much easier now that I am eating better, I don't get so lightheaded.

Speaking of eating, I am enjoying food again!  I have been eating mainly fish, and have had no "sticking" problems since the procedure on Friday.  So good!

Tonight I am starting a new event at my store.  I have had a couple of men shopping in the store, they are cross-dressers.  Men need the plus sizes usually.  But I think they are uncomfortable coming in during regular business hours.  So I am trying to reach out to that community and have "X-men" night on the first Wednesday of each month, from 6-8.  So if any of you know anyone who would be interested in that, please pass the word along.

Hope everyone has a GREAT day, stay warm!

Peace,
Deb

YAY for eating and double YAY for embracing all people equally.  I think it is awesome that  you are reaching out and doing something just for the men to make them feel more comfortable!

Deb  I knew I loved you for a reason!!!!  I think it is so fabulous that you are willing to embrace the cross dressing men. They usually are plus size, and have large shoe sizes obviously.  There is a large community of tranny's in Allentown Area they have a renaisance meeting there once a month. I would recommend giving your cards out to some of them to take back to the Ren Meetings.
