*** Election Day Tuesday Roll Call ***
Yup, election day, get out and be heard!
Writing from work where the workfront drama continues, but not in a bad way, as I found out when I arrived yesterday that the front desk nasty, came in cleared out her stuff and won't be back, can you feel the earth move under your feet, that would be me jumping for joy, as well as most of the others in this office. . . this after they bent over backwards to keep her here, because her skill set was of value to them. Things around here should improve considerably with her gone, she had an axe to grind daily with someone or several someone's and she reported to the home office, from her sick perspective daily, and it seems they bought it. Enough about that, color me HAPPY!
This evening is dinner with the "eens" something we try to do once a month as our way to support one another in this wacky, wonderful post-WLS life!
Wishing you all a safe and happy day.

I realized I've gotten away from OH for the past week or so, not really even lurking much.
We're at Paul's house in DE this morning. He'll go vote, then we'll head to my house in PA so I can vote too. I'm hoping to get there before dinner time, when the polls may get busy because of people stopping after work.
Nothing on the job front. I've had a couple of phone interviews and am waiting...and waiting...to hear the next step. It's frustrating that recruiters/companies hurry to do a phone interview, then don't tell you anything for a few weeks. I'm hoping something soon works out.
Have a great day, all!!
Good morning Steffi and PA,
Not much going on with me these days. Today is work till 5 then voting on my way home today. Nothing planned for tonight.
After riding my scooter to work yesterday and freezing my legs off, I told my husband I am not riding it again till I get snow pants, coveralls or something to keep my legs warm. Target has snow pants for a really good price but as luck has it, neither of the Targets that are near me have them. I may just have to order them and hope they fit!
Went to the gym this morning and did 40 mins on the elliptical then the upper body machines. I'm working on getting myself to do an hour on the elliptical by Thanksgiving.
Hope everyone has a good day.

I had a wonderful birthday, my family took me out for dinner at Macaroni Grill for dinner, and I got very thoughtful gifts. My nephew gave me a Wawa giftcard, as he knows that is my favorite store. My sister gave me a Visa giftcard. My sis-in-law gave me yarn and a t-shirt that says, "I knit so I won't kill people." All of my kidlets called me to wish me Happy Birthday. And I can't believe how many friends on Facebook sent me greetings. I am truly blessed.
Today, I will be working on the gown I am making Isabel for Christmas. My sewing machine started acting up yesterday, so I have to get some WD40 to see if I can troubleshoot it.
Everyone get out and vote.
Hugs,
Trish

My beloved Aunt Maryis getting her hip replaced so she will stay with me after surgery for a few weeks since I have a bathroom and such all on one floor for her.
Can not wait to return ti my bed this evening and be alone in my thoughts,
