Jill,
I am recommitted to doing what I need to do and had a successful weekend to boot, no halloween candy, nor excessive amounts of carbs, I watched, made healthy choices and feel better for having done so. . . This is my meal plans for today (breakfast is done)
B: WW roll-up with 2% American melt
S: Yogurt w/small piece of my WW banana nut bread
L: Italian Wedding Soup
S: Sugar free Rice pudding
D: Not sure yet, possibly, crustless pizza
S: Fruit

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

It doesn't seem weird to me. I think you are doing what you are supposed to be doing, and eating the way you are supposed to be eating, you will be less tempted. It's when we allow ourselves to start playing around with carbs and sweets, that we get into trouble.
Blessings, Jill
WLS 5/31/07. Maintaining a weight loss of 141 pounds and feeling amazing!
That's true, Jill.
I haven't played around with sugar, thankfully. Carbs are an ongoing fight for me and always will be - Mostly, I stick to whole grains when I have them, but the temptation is always there and always strong, so I have to be really, really cautious.
Thanks for the perspective!
