*** Spooky Saturday Roll Call ***
I am hoping to go back to sleep shortly, when I get up I have a Bat Mitzvah service to attend with Molly and Emily. This is the Bat Mitzvah of a young lady that Molly grew up with at the synagogue since they were 2 and Larry and I were invited as friends of the parents to the whole thing, but Molly was NOT invited. Pretty ****ty if you ask me - the girls are friendly at synagogue so I don't know why we wre invited but Molly wasn't. So - Larry and I are NOT going to the reception. Anyone can come to the ervice, so I am dragging Molly along. After the service I will hopefully come home and nap....then taking the girls to sleep at some friends house so I can party the night away Halloween style.....still debating the costume....any last minute ideas would be great!
So what are you up to today? Anything exciting?
Yes...you scared me!!! No makeup, hair not done....aaaaahhhhh lol
Absolutely nothing exciting going on for me today. I'm leaving here and going to the gym. There was a possibility of going out for "kegs and eggs" to send one of our night shifters into her new role in our new peds er which will be opening up in February (they are pulling the staff now for additional training etc) but that's no longer happening.
Gonna do some treadmill work from whenever I get to the gym till 8:15 at which time I'll do the spin class. Thursday I ended up not working at all due to some family drama so today is taking the place of that longer work out.
Then it's the SOSDD...stopping at the store and picking up some water and a few other things, getting home, packing up food for work, shower, head to bed. Back to work tonight 1900-0700 at LVH CC
Enjoy!

Today is our 20th wedding anniversary so we are going to a local B&B tonight. But I have to work today, oh well.
I was accepted into a grant program to get up-to-date on Microsoft software and Administrative techniques. I decided instead of training into something new. Grasp my past work experience and upgrade it. I am very excited about it.
Have a great spooky day all!

Thanks for everyone's support and well wishes yesterday. My "stretching" procedure was a breeze - didn't feel a thing and I felt fine after. Dr. said he had to stretch me from 5mm to 16mm. He said 16mm is normal for the opening, so I was only about a third of that. I did go home and rest for a couple hours, but I was back in the store by 2. I really felt fine. Didn't try any solid foods yet, Dr. said stay on liquids yesterday and mushies today.
Last night was Trick or Treat here in Bethlehem, we gave our glow sticks from Michaels. Didn't want candy in the house! Besides, its not good for anyone, even the kids. We ran out of them at 7pm after giving our 120 of them. Not good plannning! I will have to remember that for next year.
Today is (hopefully) a busy day at the store. Tomorrow I get to test my stomach opening a little, we are taking hubby's stepfather out to dinner for his 101st birthday! Quite amazing, he lives on his own and takes care of himself. It's an Italian restaurant, hoping for some nice soft fish.
Hope everyone has a GREAT day!!
Peace,
Deb
I am freezing this morning, the chill is in the air. I am sitting here feeling a bit guilty for not buying any halloween candy this year. Planning to just put a note on door that I am out of candy. Isn't that sad. I know all you mother's out there are probably cursing me out, but I really am not up to handing out candy this year. I have been overloaded with muscle relaxers and am planning to stay in bed all weekend. Guess I will make up for it next year and get the big candy bars from Costco.
Does anyone have a good and easy recipe for swedish meatballs? I have this weird craving....lol I have some high protein pasta that I bought at netrition.com and though swedish meatballs would go nicely with this.
Thanks and have a great one.

Today has me skipping synagogue..but it's for a valid reason, this time. My cousin's boyfriend suffered a massive heart attack Tuesday night and passed away. He was only 54. He was Catholic, so they are having a viewing and memorial type service today and then a graveside service on Monday. Since it is 90 minutes away in NJ, I thought it would be better for me to get there today so I can spend some time with my cousin and not just go to a 15 min service. Plus, it's the weekend, so much easier. Siehara and I will head to our favorite diner for breakfast and then head to NJ for the viewing.
From there, we will head home so I can get ready for Halloween celebrations! My costume is all laid out and I'm trying to figure out how to do my makeup without it looking dirty.. ugh.. My babysitter is coming at 5, so I will hopefully be ready by then and be out the door to get to the party before 7. I will most likely leave the party around 10 or 11 and come back to hang out with a friend whose birthday was yesterday. A bunch of us are going out to help her celebrate. As long as I can make an appearance, even if just for 30 mins to an hour, I'm good. There is karaoke at my favorite place tonight, too, but friends come first. Who knows, maybe they'll want to go there since the drinks are super cheap there. We'll see. I'll go wherever they want to go.
It's gonna be a long day... but a fun night!
