Good morning everyone in PA........I am up - a wee bit sleepy - didn't get home til 1:30ish....but, I am ready to head to Hebrew School.  As I was leaving the game last night I ran into one of my students and his dad.  Should be funny to see if he shows up at school this morning.  I told him that we could both nap in the back of the class! :)

After Hebrew School I will drop Molly off at a friends house, come home to some company, head over to Emily's soccer game and then back home for dinner.  Will take Josh to work, have dinner, back out again to get Molly, drop her at home, pick up Josh from work and home to sleep and start all over tomorrow.

Hope your Sunday is a bit more relaxed than mine is turning out to be! :)

Sorry about the game. It was so good seeing you yesterday, hope you all survived the commute in.

Your day sounds like you should slap a yellow sign on top of you car and pick up a few fares along the way. busy busy.

Laying low today have lots of chores to do. I hope you all have a great Sunday

Morning Steffi.. hope you fared well with your commute into the city.  I hit a ton of traffic going home from Schnibbe's.. but it was well worth it to see all of the smiling faces there and to see Tanya and family last night.  They are doing so well and Marshall is just the cutest little thing in the world.. well, him and his sister and his cousin.. adorableness!!!  Tanya looks freakin' fantastic too!!  Her family is awesome and we always feel so welcome in their home, just like we are part of the family.

This morning, I made canoli filled strawberries and cream cheese and lox spread to take up to my step mom's house for after the unveiling of my father's tombstone.  I made SF chocolate chip cookies the other day, too.  They are having bagels, so I am bringing a 1/2 a sandwich round so I can indulge in the cream cheese and lox!!

Today will be somewhat emotional at the cemetery, but then followed with nice time spent with family back at her house.

There is a good chance Kenny (my ex-husband, for those of you who don't know) will be at the cemetery.  I will be civil and reminded Siehara to at least say hello out of respect.

Once we are done at my step-mom's, we will come home and just relax for the rest of the day.

GM all!!

Lisa: You'll be in my thoughts today.  Saying good-bye is never easy.

Paul and I went out for a walk this morning.  Too beautiful out to be on the treadmill in the basement!  I'm heading out in about an hour for a breast cancer fund raiser, sponsored by Phoenixville Hospital's thrift shop.  It's a dinner and fashion show called Dressing On A Dime.  I think it's going to be a lot of fun.  All the models are cancer survivors.

This afternoon, Paul and I are going to a metal detecting club meeting.  We met a guy on the beach a few weeks ago who's the president of the club, and it's in my area, so we're going to check it out.  (Provided Paul is up to it.  He's been getting a lot of headaches again.)

Have a great day, all!!  Peace and strength to all!!!

welcome to snot land... that is what I feel like my house is lol... this stupid cold just will not go away... at all... grrr...

We didn't go to church because we are all gross and nasty... but I did head out and get some nasal spray to get the snot out of my head and some other groceries... got boneless pork ribs slow baking in the oven- to be used for other meals later this week- bbq pulled pork, pork roast kind of a dish, etc... and then browned up some stew beef to make some beef and veggie stew in the crock pot... and I just made a cake for my dad's birthday... it was on the 5th but Lore didn't like it that we didn't get a "cake" for daddy's birthday (Jeremy's was the 18th)... not sugar free but don't care lol... I want beef stew... oh dear lord is smells awesome!

I hope to take a nap later... because I'm beat now lol!

well I am going back to watch Phineas and Ferb... love this show... well Annabelle is getting ticked in her jumper so I better go save her lol...

Good Morning Steffi and PA,

I watched the Phillies game to the bitter end hoping that they would pull out a win, but it did not happen. THANKS PHILLIES for a great post season!! You gave it a good try!!!

Anyway, today I have been very busy....Dropped Dee off at Hebrew School, went to Sam's not realizing that they don't open until 10 on Sundays (the nerve of them!), so went back home and had breakfast, then out to Sam's Club AGAIN! Picked up things that I needed and few that I didn't....but that's the way it is at Sam's. I didn't go crazy....picked up some Halloween treats to give out to the kiddies, also found a baking pack of cinnamon, vanilla extract, ginger and nutmeg all for $6.87!!! Then emptied the car, went back to pick up Dee at school. Just changed and freshened up to go to Kathleen's purse party while Dee plays with her friend!! WHEW!! When I get back it is back to baking for Maura's party next week. More brownie cupcakes and peanut butter cookies, and maybe some oatmeal cookies for hubby if I feel up to it! I already have a tray of chocolate brownie cupcakes with homemade chocolate caramel frosting and peanut butter cookies.....

Have a great day everyone!! Gotta goooooo.......

Good Afternoon Steffi,
I am sitting in my hospital bed at Aria Bucks watching the Eagles game with my son, and using his computer to check in with you all.  I am here because of a blood clot in my lung and some pneumonia.  I have been here since Thursday night, and will be out of here either Monday or Tuesday.

Bummed about the Phillies, but grateful to be alive.

Hugs,
Trish
