Hello everyone I am new to this site and new to surgery.  I live in Pittsburgh, Pa.  Glad to know there are some events in Pa. Just had my surgery last monday.

Welcome... we have a lot of people on the western side of the state... there is one girl that hosts a cooking class out that way... right now having a blond moment and can't think of her name lol... but welcome!!!

Welcome! Swede is one of the regulars on here and I think he's from Pittsburgh. It's always great to meet newbies and get their perspective on things. This is an incredible board - glad you're part of it and welcome to the loser's bench!

Welcome! You'll love it here, there are amazing supportive people. I don't know how I would have made it without this board.

Welcome to the boards!  I am not nearly as active these days on this board as others are, but I do try to make every effort to stop in once a week or so at the bare minimum and catch up and what not!

It's a PHENOMENAL support group with lots of people who are always willing to give advice, listen, help, come up with suggestions, etc.  It's a lot of fun!
