Thirsty Thursday Roll Call

Ok...so...the title of that is not because I am thirsty.  It's the nickname we have while Kutztown University is in session.  Thursday is the big drinking night on campus, and inevitably, we get a host full of "K U specials" as we so lovingly call it.

The BEST thing about this thirsty thursday roll call?  Is I'm off so I don't have to deal with the beer muscles and tears tonight!

Leaving here, maybe doing some quick food shopping at Wegmans.  Not that I ever am "quick" in that place...sheesh

I'm napping then headed back out to fleetwood to the bff's house to pick up her hubby and bring him to his follow up appt in Reading.

After I get done with that I'm babysitting for a friend till I'm not sure when....but that's fine.  Nothing like the innocence of children to make you forget about your cares and concerns!

By then I'll be pretty spent and will most likely head to bed quite early!  All in all....a really good day planned

Hi all,

Well I guess the ground was thirsty too. Rainy day.

Threw my hip out yesterday. I am very sore. Had an adjustment and a massage but still hobbling around. Supposed to clean the house for the realtor to come and check the house. Yikes!

Anyway, did not take the McDonald's job. Right now, working around food is not a good idea. I can't even watch the Food Channel anymore. I loved to watch Chopped.

Anyway, you all have a great day.

good luck with your plans today I hope they all go smoothly and I am happy you will be having a DRY Thursday.

Today I have work and then a tastefully simple party to go to. So tonight should be relaxed yay.

Hope you all have a great day

Morning Pammie... glad to see you around here again.

There you are taking care of others again..just be sure you are making enough time for yourself so you don't end up sick again.

Today has me working for a change.

After work, homework dance, followed by hebrew school taxi.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do during Hebrew School.  I SHOULD go to the gym and do cardio.  We'll see how I'm feeling.. I'm pretty sore today from 3 days in a row of doing "different" things in the gym.   Again, good sore, but sore all the same.  Maybe I'll just go and walk on the treadmill or if it's not too cold, I'll walk outside near the synagogue.

After Hebrew School, I WILL go to the gym for Pilates.   That will feel really good after this week's gym schedule.

Tonight, home to hopefully get in the bed early.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning PA,

I can't even believe I am up this early.  It's just going to make for a longer day.  I am bored and tired of staring at the four walls in my house.  I identified a feeling last night - anger.  I am angry that I did this to myself and angry that I can't do what I use to be able to do.  Not much going on here today.

 Beth,

Don't feel angry with "what you did to yourself." This is temporary. You will be up and moving outside those 4 walls soon! Maybe you need some fresh air. Sit outside and soak up any amount of sunlight for a while today. Get some clean air in those lungs. It'll give you a fresh perspective. Pamper yourself a little. Give yourself a fresh coat of nail polish...a facial...sip some sf cocoa and watch your favorite morning show. (gets me thru many days :-). I'm a price is right sucker lately.

Why ARE you on crutches? is it long term? is it from belly surgery? (sorry if I'm prying...)

What can't you do now that you want to do? There are ways to put men on the moon...we can suggest ways for you to do what you want!

Chin up buttercup! Maybe it's gloomy where you are. I know it is here, but, the daylight would still do you some good.

Beth when I was laid up with my knee surgery, I felt the same way. I "prepared," but got SO bored with TV, the couch, the mess around me, even the computer and my books! (Couldn't concentrate very well, never comfortable, you get it!)

What do they tell you in terms of recovery time?

Beth are you still on crutches?
Some of my girlfriends are going to field of screams at 630 and then to dinner after if you want to make the drive up for that. Just giving you some options. :P

Good Morning Pam, Others

Hope your shopping expedition went well, love Wegman's and if you shop carefully, you can get really good food and prices to boot.

Just another average workday, but looking forward to this evening as Tony is coming down for dinner, we have not seen each other in 3 weeks because of his "boys" vacation and my weekends have been tied up with other things, so I am so looking forward to seeing him. . .

Guess that about sums up the day, oh and be careful there is a nasty computer virus going around, I am very careful, but my roommate must have opened an email and it got into my contacts and first I knew of it, my son sent me an email asking why I sent him and email for viagara (lol). . .  I did not realize my firewall was down. . .  so spent last night and part of this morning reconfiguring my virus protection program and firewall, not to mention sending out a mass email last night warning people not to open any emails from me without a subject line. . .

Have a great day and I wish you peace and strength to get through whatever life brings your way.

Hugs, Laureen

Good morning Pammy and all of PA - Hey - wanna come to Philly and babysit Emily for me?!?!  HA HA!

Getting ready to head off to school - very disappointed in the Phillies performance as of late and am trying to hold onto some positive - but sadly - I don't think I am pheeling it!  OH well - Another fun season and there is a game to watch tonight.  Of course, don't know how much of it I will catch - busy evening ahead.

Heading off to school, then home for a quick shower and dinner with some friends then the viewing for the mom of a former student who lost her battle with some sort of stupid cancer at a VERY young age - I dont' even think she was fifty.  Leaving behind 4 children and a husband.  It just breaks my heart and then brings it close to home again too!  I was atleast a grown woman when my mom died - my students are a freshman and junior in high school.  Sucks.  Anyway - I am heading off to go shape the young minds of Philadelphia....pray for them!  HA HA! :)

Happy Thursday y'all
