Parmesan Crisps
Parmesan Crisps: Submitted by: Official Kimkins | Date Added: 10 Jun 2006
Ingredients:
Makes 8 crisps
8 tablespoons shredded parmesan (not grated)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaapoon garlic powder
Cooking Instructions:
Fancy looking but oh-so-simple! Make up a batch for company and serve "standing up" in a cute container. Everyone will wonder how you made them. Yummy laid on top of a steaming bowl of soup to melt!
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Using a tablespoon measure the cheese exactly, scraping across the top with the edge of a knife. Place the cheese in rounded mounds on nonstick baking liner or parchment paper.
Bake 2-3 minutes until beginning to brown (check often!) Remove from oven & let cool briefly before serving.
Tip: Make life easier with a silicone Silpat liner. They're flexible and nonstick. Great for baking cookies for the kids!

I've done this before.....pretty good....also a great sub for "croutons" especially in a caesar salad.
Just as an aside...I think when they say "not grated" it means not the pregrated stuff in a can...gotta get the real stuff for this to work!
