Well last week I didn't see the progress I wanted to see on work projects, so I have to hit it hard today. I'll be in the office till about noonish, then head to Pittsburgh for a meeting there tomorrow. I will have the laptop of course, so can work this evening and try to move the mountain a little bit.

And wrapping up little stuff...folding the last load of laudry, etc. Mike is coming down with a cold so I want to leave things in good order for him while I"m gone. He's worked way too many hours in recent weeks with no end in sight till Thanksgiving, so he I think my job is to try to bring some balance to it all.

Good Morning All

Trish - so sorry to hear about the family drama

I am at work today until 4 then off to My Mom's house to hang out with her and Amelia. I might stop at Target to pick up a few things. MY Mom is taking AMelia out today so I'm not sure when they'll be home.

i had an awesome weekend! I got my Christmas layaway made and that makes me feel like a million bux! If I get nothing else for x-mas, at least my girls will have something under the tree. WHEW!

I got lots done online this weekend too! Bought some grocerie**** the Goodwill 29¢ Sunday sale. You just can't beat that! With our changing sizes, how can you NOT hit a Goodwill on a Sunday to scout out a couple things to fill in those holes in your wardrobe?

This coming weekend I'm going on a Scrapbooking all girls event at my favorite Bed n Breakfast. I need to spend this week getting some things organized so I don't take my entire scrapbook collection - just what I need.

Let's talk about weight and changing sizes for a minute. I've lost over 5 pounds in the past week. I was hovering around 160 for about 6-8 weeks and then BOOM I lost every day this past week and today I'm 154.6#. My doctor's goal is 150. It's been incredible!

Everyone have a super super Monday!

That's my kind of shopping!!!  For the past year, most of my wardrobe has come from a Goodwill clearance store, where all the clothes are 75 cents, outerwear is $2.  I got a Columbia sportswear winter jacket for $2!!!  Can't beat it!!!

Hey, how did you do the 'cent' symbol???

I think I'm addicted...3rd week in a row that I've been there.  Our store runs a new color tag @29¢ every week. The color changes on Sunday, so, thats's the day with the most to choose from. LOVE IT!!! I need a coat too. I've got a peacoat but I think when snow flies I'll still need a warmer coat.

I make the cent sign by typing option-4      ¢

Hope it works for you!

GM Trish and PA!

Feeling good this morning---I got on my treadmill for the first time in weeks.  I've walked while we were away, but it's just not the same.  I'm going shopping today with a friend of mine.  We're going to the Goodwill in Morgantown, where there's a clearance outlet.  I'm hoping to find some stuff I can wear for interviews in case I get something lined up.  If there's a bargain, we'll find it!  (Shopping with her can be stressful though---I always seem to lose her in stores.  Got separated once in Wal-Mart and looked everywhere.  Finally called her cell and got a busy signal---she was trying to call me at the same time.  lol)

Have a great day, all!!!  Peace and strength to all!!!

Good morning Trish and all of PA -

I am at work and ready to tackle the day - what a GREAT day to be a Philadelphia sports fan!  Love Monday's like this!  I did not sleep well, trying hard NOT to get the cold that has been hovering around my house for weeks.  Larry has it bad, This might be one of the few good times that we don't sleep in the same bed at the same time for many nights in a row!

After school today I am headed home to watch Molly's head roll as I punish her for a variety of infractions!  She is really starting to get on my nerves!  The good news is that Josh will be pleased - he gets a sick sense of joy when Molly gets herself in trouble! :)  (I am soooo proud!)  OY!

I have to get to Target at some point tonight to get some things for Confirmation Academy tomorrow night.  Oh - and joy of all joys - I have jury duty tomorrow!  I have ZERO interest in heading into the city tomorrow and then trying to get back to the suburbs by 4:15 to teach Hebrew School.  Uch.....All of this JUST so I can vote?!?!  Puh-leeze!

Have a great Monday everyone!

so weird about the jury duty thing.. do you know already that you have to go?

I called last night and was told I didn't have to go to mine, though it was local, not federal.

RE: Molly... hope things work themselves out quickly and that Josh does not tease her when she gets in trouble.  I hope he keeps his joy inside so as not to make matters with her worse.

It's Philadelphia.  There are always cases going on.  I still have to call tonight - but I am SURE I will have to head downtown tomorrow.

Josh is pretty good at keeping his joy to himself.  He actually doesn't say anything to her or us - he just feels vindicated that she actually gets in trouble for things that he would.  Because of her disabliity she has some different rules than him and it drives him crazy - and understandably so, however, he is starting to understand why things are different for him.

So what are you going to do today now that you do not have to go to Jury Duty - see - the other thing is that I already have a substitute - so I can't come into work.  Another fun thing about living in Philadelphia!

well.. what am I going to do? I am going to work.. I have been working, sort of, since 6:00.. I put in for a tentative day off for jury duty with the understanding that if I didn't have to go in, I would work.  I wonder if I could have gotten away with taking the day anyway.  Better not pu**** my boss was not in the best mood this morning on a quality call we had.
