Manic Monday Roll Call

Greetings PA Peeps,
Well, my Sunday did not go as planned, and I am a bit perturbed.  I ended up missing most of the Phillies game because I had to help my sister get out of a jam with my special needs nephew that she created.  Long story, but I had to help her get hold of him and pick him up from a friend's because she did not make sure he had a ride home from the friend's house after letting him go there.  I do not begrudge my nephew a thing.  I just hate that my sister does not have a cell phone, and that she does not write phone numbers down to make sure she can call people when there is an emergency.  Thank God I had all the numbers in my cell phone.

Sorry about the rant...I just have to vent.

Monday has me heading to the pain specialist in the morning, and then to the gym afterward.  I also must get to church to drop off some clothes for teh homeless.

Trish sorry for the family drama.

Today should be alright I have work, gearing up for both bosses being out for a bit, but I know I can do it.  I am in back on track mode because my food and excercise have been in the pits.
I am actually going to start a real back on track program on 10/26/10 once I have completed that program I will start running groups myself as part of my private practice.

No ring this weekend, but he did tell me that the jeweler screwed up so at least there is movement LOL

I have my interview at Mcdonalds to day.  I really don't want to work in a food joint but we need the bucks.  This evening I will look at a one bedroom apartment.  We have to make some decisions soon.

I understand how tough it can be to have to work at McDonald's .  I am sorry you are going through this rough spot.  I hope you are able to find better work soon, and that your family can have some stability financially.  I have been there, and totally empathize.

I know McDonalds isn't anybody's idea of a 'dream' job, but hopefully it's just a temporary situation and will help get you through this rough patch. I have to tell you that the Micky D's I stop at on the way to work for my morning coffee fix has an older man working there - he's ex-military and in his 40's - he LOVES his job - he works the window where they take orders - and honestly he acts like his has THE best job in the world! Its all about attitude - and his is amazing. So go in with an open mind - and best of luck on the interview!

After an awesome 4 day weekend, it is back to the reality show of my life today. . . 

So it will be a working day, hoping to make an nooner AA meeting and after work I will connect with the women still here from my get together for dinner and then home to bed to get another good night's rest.

Good morning all - back at work this morning - going to be a quiet week - the boss and a few others are all traveling.

Had a nice weekend - really just house stuff - yesterday I made a big crockpot of chili for the day, then proceeded to clean - and clean - and clean. I honestly didn't think my house was THAT dirty but once you get started one thing leads to another. The past few weeks I've been 'cheating' with the swifters and just knocking dust off stuff, but yesterday I got down and dirty into polishing furniture, mopping floors, etc. Needless to say my arm is killing me today - this is the sucky part of getting older.

Not much on my agenda today - going to the mall at lunch to walk - arm exercises tonight - maybe hop on the bike.
