Really?! Nobody else is up? Well, I know Pam is because I got an email from her.  She's at Wegman's.. LOL

I'm up .. did a stretch video.. going to shower and head over for my first 5K today!! WOOT!

It is the Women's 5K classic and is in support of Breast Cancer research.  I walk in honor of ALL women!

After the 5K, hit Amelia's grocery store, home to shower, pick up Siehara and head to Easton to see the best Amelia!  All of those things in whatever order hits me.  I promise I won't go into Amelia's all sweaty and gross.

Tonight is Bat Mitzvah party.

CRASH in the bed.

Today, I need to do a whole house cleaning.  Can't stand it any more.  Anyway, we may go apartment hunting.  We seriously need to decrease our outgo.  So today is kind of busy.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Good Morning Pa and Lisa,
I have been up for a few hours, but was waiting for you to start the thread.  Good Luck with your run today, we did a three mile walk for Breast Cancer last weekend.
Today finds me get things back in order in the house, getting all my stuff together to pack up the car and close up the house to head back up north.  I will take the weekend to stop and see my sister who I haven't seen in about two years, it should be interesting as she is only  one of two people in my family that knows that I had my surgery.  I can't wait, I've missed her so much. Will spend the weekend there, then head up to my daughters in Md.  Hope it is a nice day for a drive  Have a great day everyone, may you have the strength to meet the challenges of the day.
Hugs,  Ena

I am up missy!  Getting ready myself - only not for anything as generous as you - but up nonetheless.

Have to go eat breakfast, and get showered and dressed for a Bat Mitzvah this morning.  Home this afternoon for a nap, (Wish I lived closer to Easton) and then up again to take Emily to sleepover birthday party, back to get Larry and partying the night away at the Bat Mitzvah reception.  Looking forward to playing tonight!

Have a great day everyone!

Hi all!!

Lisa: Good luck with your 5k!!!

We're on the road, which seems to be our usual activity lately. We're heading to my house to drop off the cats and unload our stuff. Need to return a library book and pick up the mail. Then we'll head up to Liz's---really looking forward to seeing everyone.

Good Morning Lisa & PA:

Lisa - I am in awe of your ability to do a 5K!!!!  The ambition and dedication it takes to prepare for that  - what can I say you are such an inspiration!!!!!

Liz - "someday" Gene and I hope to make it to one of your Saturday events.

Today is a fun filled day in the GnI household.  Gene is grading midterm papers, as well as working on a written test for his post-graduate studies in Family Systems therapy, writing his own 6 page paper, and working on his CV and bio for a couple business opportunities that have come up in the past couple weeks.

Me - I'm reading the chapter that is due for today's class.  Then I have to do some work on blackboard and then go back to complete the chapters I'm behind in for my readings.  This has been a rough first class for me.  My prof has placed me in a small group with two other woman who have no clue of the concept of discussion in a blackboard setting.  I have had to get the Academic Director of the MBA program involved.  She has assured me my grade will not suffer due to these other women and that she will intervein and have me moved to another group.  All that stress has put me back in my actual work that I have to submit.  I also have to complete my research for my project that is due in three weeks - an 8 page paper along with a powerpoint and 20 minute presentation the last night of class.  Way too much stress for the first class!!!!

Today I will also be roasting veggies for a cover dish luncheon at church tomorrow and baking a carrot cake, black bean brownies, and a cookie tray.

I also have to run up to Boulevard Animal Hospital to pick up Hider's special food, she has gastro issues so needs a special food that is not sold in pet stores, then to the pet store to pick up a new litter box.  Her litter box has broken after almost 11 yrs of her using it.  Need to find a new LitterMaid.

I am also doing the happy dance   for a week now I have been holding at 126 pounds - OMG  that is a pound below my surgeons goal for me

Now I am wondering if I will continue with the WL successing and keep going in a positive direction considering all the stress I've placed myself in with the MBA studies.....I'm wondering if this was a mistake in timing with my WL journey being so new

Hope every one has an awesome day!!!!!

Good Morning Lisa,
I could not scrape myself off the bed this morning...so, I slept late.

I already walked Utley, and enjoyed the beautiful Fall day.  Now, to tidying and then to an appointment with my therapist.  Tonight, family is coming over for the Phillies game.

Congrats on your 5K.  Someday I will do one as well, walking, not running.

Hugs,
Trish

I'm screwing around on the computer today...

If you're feeling bored and want to see some homecoming pictures...I think this link will take you there. A little peek into my world.

We went to the soccer game this morning. Chilly, but I'll take it. Alexis blocked a goal at the last possible second before they blew the whistle. SOOOOO proud of her!

Went to Pizza Hut for a post season party. Tasted pizza toppings. YUM!

Now I'm listing on ebay and farting around with homecoming pictures. Wanted to stop by for a second to share.

I think we're going out to make a Christmas layaway tonight. Never too soon with 4 kids!

Now, back to work.
