For anyone that didn't see in her original post, I'll supply paper and markers saturday if anyone would like to burn what they would like to "let go". We'll have a camp fire going so it will be the perfect opportunity! Of course there is no obligation to share what you are writing but we will all be there to support what you are purging

I agree that this is a excellent opportunity to let go of something anything. Of course I won't bring any of my FAT PANTS to burn because that could cause a 4 alarmer. But, if it is something small or symbolic like a picture or a letter or something that could also be used. this would be open to everyone as everyone regardless of your past and if you are a WLS patient, has something that they need to let go of,.

Wish I could be there - I'd burn my crutches!  Have a great time.  I love the idea of 'letting go' and purging the negatives.

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

so THAT was the big deal with the fire!  Sheesh!  Maybe I should've kept up with the frigging boards, huh????  Well I guess I live close enough I could have Chris build me a fire anytime?  Anyhow...wasn't there for the purging anyway....GREAT idea though Liz!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
