I'm ready to go DRESS shopping, unbelievable!!!  I've been faithfully wearing my support garment and been buying new ones as they lose their shape and just starting wearing support hose.  They work, I almost have normal legs while wearing the hose.  I'm in shock.

Please elaborate on the support garment.  I go in for surgery next week and i'm interested in all methods of maintaining success, not just the dietary guidelines the bariatric group provides.

I bought a support garment because I have lymphedema and the swelling was causing me to wear size 16 pants forever.  Last October I bought this compression surgical grade garment from a vendor at the OH convention and have had great success with it.  I lost 40# since last October just from the compression on my legs.  I thought I would give the support hose a shot since I had a credit building with drugstore.com and voila, they are excellent now that most of the swelling is down due to the compression garment.  Unless you have some type of edemia I doubt that using these types of garments would do anything for you.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!
