Monday movers and shakers

Got to the gym this morning - first MORNING at the gym in a month! Did a combined cardio-strength workout.  10 minutes on the treadmill (running), 5 minutes on the rower, then a lot of mat work (chest flys on the ball, pushups, ball planks, ball crunches, leg lifts, rinse and repeat).  Finished up with stretching.

So whatcha doing to move today?

I woke up at 3:00 AM with a mondo hot flash - you'd think from the sweat alone I'd lose a few pounds! But alas, it had me up for over an hour so when I finally fell back to sleep I re-set the alarm then slept thru that. So I will be working out tonight on my bike, after I do my arm exercises.

My goodness Kathy that sounds like a wicked hot flash. Yuck.

I'm very very sore from my weekend workouts so I'm cycling today at VF. Hopefully, it will loosen up the hurt in my legs.

The weather is just incredible!

hello,

Went to the gym this morning.  Today was my cardio day.  I did 20 minutes on the bike and 30 hard hills on the elliptical.  Tomorrow is like cardio and lower body strength training.

I have wanting to get my bike out to VF.  Every time I think about going, the husband has other errands and things we need to do.  I'll get there before the weather changes, I hope!

Will be walking on the beach this afternoon.  It will be a good upper body workout too since I'll be metal detecting.  I can really feel it in my arms now from using the machine and also digging in the sand.
