Ingredients:
Makes 12 "fingers"
12 oz raw boneless chicken breast, no skin
3 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
1 tablespoon water
1 packet Splenda
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
salt & pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions:
This is a very hot and spicy dish, so beware! For those who desire fast weight loss, skip the usual ranch dressing for dipping.
Slice chicken into 12 equal slices (fingers).
Combine Tabasco, water, Splenda and spices in a Ziploc baggie. Mix well, then add chicken strips. Squeeze out the air and seal.
Let marinate 10-15 minutes. Cook as desired: grill outside or on the counter top, broil, bake or pan fry (no oil needed).
Tip: Keep extra "fingers" on hand in the fridge for a quick snack. One finger gives a blast of heat that takes your mind off food (and has much protein as 2 eggs!)
