I am soon leaving work, going home to sleep for 3-4 hours, then getting up to finish up packing for the weekend. We are all going camping with a bunch of Johnny's family at a race track for the big Fall national race.

I am thankful the rain has stopped and it will be a perfect fall weekend.

Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Morning Jo Jo...

Today has me doing absolutely nothing!! Well, I may do some stuff around the apartment.. like fold the endless pile of clothes that are laying around my apartment.

I took off work today because of the holiday, but decided to stay home today instead of going to synagogue.  I think part of my issue with my dizziness may be that I am overtired.  I have been running and running and running and need the day to just do nothing.  This is going to be somewhat of a busy weekend and I want to be 100% for it.

Last night at services, I was starting to get warm and that weird feeling started coming back again.  I went in the kitchen and had a banana and then sat out the dancing part.  I felt better, but did not want to push anything. I came home and was in bed by around 10 and asleep by 10:30.  I woke up in the middle of the night again, but was able to go back to sleep fairly quickly.

We may end up doing something tonight, but nothing that is too big of a deal, because again.. busy weekend coming up.

Tomorrow, I am going to be chanting the Haftorah (A reading from the Prophets, read along with the weekly Torah portion).  It is the 25th anniversary of my Bat Mitzvah, so I am chanting the same portion I did back in 1985.  I gave a donation for the lunch after services in honor of both my 25th anniversary and Siehara's 12th birthday, which is Monday.  I'm thinking we may end up at the Caine's tomorrow afternoon so Siehara can help Sarah bake her birthday cake for her party.  Sunday is Siehara's birthday party.   We are going to the bowling alley with at least 10 of her friends.  Bron is SUPPOSED to be coming in for it.

So... I am going to go lay down and catch up on some of the things I have recorded this week and hope to nap on and off throughout the day.

 Lisa-
I was going to mention this the other day when you said you were experiencing dizziness... On two separate occasions I've had dizziness for no reason...extreme dizziness. Like, I fell to the right trying to reach for a door, fell to the right while standing in the shower, fell OUT of the shower, had to crawl since I couldn't stand upright, fell out of a swivel chair because I lost my bearings. It all happened because I had an inner ear infection. It wasn't painful AT ALL! I had no idea, but, I was extremely nauseated.

Just a thought. I don't remember if I had fever flashes or not. But, for what it's worth...

Thanks for the info.. I'll keep it in mind.

I have had the inner ear stuff before and I think this is different, but I will definitely keep it  in mind.

Good morning all - I was a bit concerned about my trip in to work this morning because the rain kept waking me up last night, but thankfully the roads were pretty clear and it appears a lot of people decided to stay home - maybe bailing out their basements? Either way it made for a nice trip in for me today.

I'm here 1/2 day today - seeing an orthopedic surgeon about my left arm - it's just not getting any better and I really want to start incorporating my hand weights back into my work-outs, but can't because trying to lift them with the left arm causes extreme pain. I'm hoping I don't need and MRI or x-rays but I probably will - seems like one thing after another for me this year. Ugh.

Tonight not much on the agenda - probably start my laundry since we have a busy weekend.

Tomorrow night dinner out with our neighbors then dominoes. Sunday we have some friends coming over for my husband's birthday - nothing big, but it'll be nice to see everybody.

And that's about it for me...take care and have a great weekend.

Hi Jodi!!!!  Miss you girl!!!!!  Coming in for the game anytime soon?!?!  We MUST figure out a way to connect!

I wonder where everyone is this morning, must be that they are sleeping through all the beautiful weather we have going on over here on the eastern side of the state!  (Gotta LOVE that Nicole!)

I am at school helping a student who was out for the frist week and a half of school after having some sort of foot issue and procedure.  After school, I will hang out here for a little and straighten up - the week gets crazy and I usually have to leave as the kids do and don't get a chance to really go through the things that get piled up.  Then tonight I am headed BACK to the synagogue as Joshua's class is running the service.  I think I am so religioned up this month - that I should be good for a while! :)

This weekend should be a nice one - tomorrow heading into Reading to scrap with my friends, then to watch the Penn State game at a friends house tomorrow night where I will spend the night.....(facebook hubby will be there....YAY!)  Sunday is hebrew school, soccer and then.....the BIG weekend event....Iggles VS. redskins.....should be a fun afternoon!

Have a GREAT Friday all....try to stay dry! :)

Good Morning Jojo.  I am up and moving slowly.  It took me ten minutes to put on my support stockings...they are so strong.  Poor dog was under my leg and I fear I might have scared him.

I am late for my AA meeting at nine, so I will make the noon meeting.  I need a meeting really bad today.

Getting dressed to walk Utley, then tidy and knit till the noon meeting.  I also have to stop and buy more compression stockings.  Plan to walk Utley down near the river and take pictures.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning all...

Well, ate P28 toast; then puked P28 toast. The pieces are too big and apparently my "clean your plate" mentality is still in there somewhere. Guess I'll have that to battle. I thought that was over.

Today is uneventful otherwise. I'm so glad it's Friday since I've thought it was Friday morning every day since Tuesday morning. I even laid down last night thanking the stars it was Friday. My kids looked at me like I'd lost my mind and they reminded me it was Thursday. I'm like "STILL?!?!?!" What a long friggin' week!

Tomorrow we go to watch Sierra cheer at a football game, watch Alexis play soccer and later in the evening we're going out to dinner then on a "haunted walk" to listen to an hour and a half of ghost stories from around Lake Erie. Tomorrow is going to be one of the best in a long time. Desperately need a night out! I'll get a decent walk in after dinner and be entertained at the same time. Perfection! Let's hope it isn't raining. No cancellations due to weather.

Have a great day everyone!
