thanks for the post. great idea. my family does something like this on sunday. we all go to my mother-in-laws for family dinner. its almost like thanksgiving every week. 25-30 are there. we all bring something and hang out for a couple of hours and catch-up. it keeps our family close.

See I think this would be fun, meet every 2 months or something and switch up the homes... everyone brings a food item and a craft item... so no one is out a lot of money....
