WHOOP WHOOP WEDNESDAY ROLL CAL
Nothing big going on here. Trying to focus on my water intake today. Now that it's not as hot, I'm finding it harder to drink enough. I thinking it's aiding in my stall.
Had 2 kids home sick yesterday. One home today with bronchitis. This is MY hell. There's a reason I'm not a nurse. I have no compassion for the ill. She coughs and I wave the air, hold my breath, etc. That's my OCD rearing it's ugly head too. (I have compassion for my kids when they're ill, but, not the illness..I'll gladly tuck them in bed, medicate them, get them their drinks and food to heal them...just do. not. cough on me. or breathe on me. or look in my direction sending germs into my personal space.)
Night 3 of dance this week. Then homework. Dinner. maybe list some things on ebay. some sewing of some pants for Kelsey and my neighbor. oh, and pay a bill or two. Such a busy day. I guess I better get offline and get going.

Just hanging out this morning. I have most of the stuff packed that we're taking home with us. I'm waiting for the dryer to stop acting up so I can run it through another cycle to get some clothes dry that I need to pack. Unfortunately, I'll have to lug the sheets and towels home to wash. We really have to replace the appliances here one of these days. (The fridge ain't so great either.) We'll be leaving here around noon or so.
Paul was asked to speak to a class of paralegals tonight, which should be interesting.

Lately, I've been lurking but not posting. No reason either. Just being a slacker. I really do live a very boring life too.
It's lunch time at work. I'll be here till 5. Hopefully the rain will hold off till I get home. I rode the scooter in today. Enough said! Tonight I plan on watching Glee that I dvr'd last night. Having leftovers for dinner.
Tomorrow is pay day. I need to get some pants and tops that are not falling off of me! Local thrift store here I come! I can't seem to keep up with it. The jeans I have on today, I bought about two weeks ago. I can now take them off witout unbuttoning or unzipping them! Mind you, I am not complaining but I'm having a hard time figuring out what to wear every day when I have about 5 things that fit. Same with my bras. I can fit a multitude of things in the extra space that's in my bras now! OK, that's enough.

I'm about to head off to my surgeons office in a little bit. It's been 5 weeks since surgery, and today should be my first fill. I previously was told that the doctor likes starting off with 3 cc's of saline, so we'll see what happens. Also while I'm at the surgeons office I will be getting my dreaded note saying that I can return to work tomorrow night.
As much as I love my job, I'm not really looking forward to going back... If I have enough time after my appointment I will run that note up to the HR Department in Doylestown.
Then later a friend of mine is coming over to hang out. We will probably head over to the Willow Grove Park Mall, and then probably come back and watch a movie or something. So nothing too exciting.

I'm working from home today. Had to follow up with my gyn from my Labor Day weekend hospitalization. Gyn said my ultra sound is showing a cyst on my right overy. He said from the CAT scan done in the hosiptal, he is also surmizing that in addition to being "FOS" as diagnoised by my PCP, I also had another cyst that burst, causing the fluid in the pelvic cul-de-sac. I have to have a follow-up ultra sound in 3 months. If the cyst gets any bigger he said we have to have a serious discussion.
A wow moment at the gyn - he kept telling me how fantastic I look. He said you are so skinny and tiny - OH MY GOD me described as skinny and tiny - I have not heard that since pre Brianna - my oldest daughter.
Also today is the day I gave birth 31 years ago to my beautiful eldest daughter. AFter 3 days in the hospital in labor on Sept. 29th @ 3am they broke my water and she was so stubborn that she still did not make her appearance until 3:52 PM.
This working from home does have some perks. I have a Dark Devils Food cake in the over. Surprising my awesome hubby. This is an old recipe of my mom's that has now been converted to WLS friendly.
Last night was my first night of class. It has started off very rocky. Most of the class did not have access to blackboard, did not have their email & passwords, and did not have their books. So all this means the class we are scheduled to have on Saturday has been Cancelled....YEAH!!!!!!
I do have a major paper and powerpoint to present on Oct 26th. I am looking forward to that. I know I have to brush up my power point and presentation skills. I'm good in front of an audience, but I'm always afraid I'm going to forget something major so I do rely too much on written notes. I have to break myself from that!
