EXERCISE MONDAY??
OK, I know this is insane, but ME, starting the exercise thread?? Well okay - here goes...
Got up at 0-Dark-Thirty (that would be 4:30 AM for you civilians - ) and got on my exercise bike and rode 5 miles in 25 minutes - have to work my way back up to where I was this time last year, but I am on a mission now and hopefully within a few weeks I'll be back to 10 miles in 45 minutes.
Wish me luck!!

does fixing breakfast with one arm while holding a 22 pound weight in the other count lol... aka that was Annabelle at 5:45- woke up screaming hungry lol... and did you know you can cook eggs in a waffle maker lol...
I am hoping to get to tour a gym tonight where they have for $10.99 weekend only passes- Fri-Sun...
Also tonight weights (5lbs) and balance ball... working on upper abs where AB killed them when I was pregnant...
Well OK then... tonight's "commit to be fit" was focused on cardio interval training... We started with 25 minutes on the treadmill (working with "perceived exertion" levels) at levels 7 - 9 (out of 10, with 10 being something you never ever try to get to). Moved to the elliptical for 10 minutes of the same (mostly 8 - 9). We were all pretty exhausted by then, so moved to rounds of alternating jump-ups onto a 12" shelf, and runs using the agility ladder (think that thing that football players do with tires except, thankfully, using a cloth ladder laid on the ground instead of tires). Then did dumbell squat-jumps and finished off with wall lunges with a ball behind us (which means you can't use your back leg at all for leverage) and alternating side planks. Stretched for about 10 minutes afterward. Whoooeeee.
