Monday Monday Roll Call
Good Morning PA,
I am so untired it's not funny. I took a nap on Sunday morning and am sore and hungry.
Monday will be busy. I first must get bloodwork for my annual physical with my PCP. Then, I have to call the pain doc that did my procedure two weeks ago, because I am still struggling with severe pain, and the lame meds I was given don't make a dent in it. I need something, anything, to cut some of the pain while I wait for his procedure to kick in. He said it could take 4-6 weeks to take effect, and it has been two weeks so far.
I also must get to an AA meeting, because I was doing my laundry at a place near a liquor store and got tempted to buy something. I have eight and a half months of sobriety, and I do not want to go back to rehab,.
The day will be finished watching the Phillies play the Nationals. I am hoping they clinch the title and the playoffs.
Hugs,
Trish

Hi all,
Today is 8 hours of orientation at the hospital. Then, it is intensive training for three weeks. We shall see. So, I will be very busy.
Yesterday sat on my favorite bike again. This is the first full size bike I can actually sit on flat footed with no heel. It is a purple V-Star. The owner may take payments through the winter so hopefully by summer, I will have a bike paid for.
Anyway you all have an awesome day.

Good morning all,
Haven't posted for a while as things continue to be extremely busy at work, and every week is filled with doctor's appointments/physical therapy. I am hopeful that they will resolve these issues going on. I am slated for facet injections in my neck on Thursday. I am very nervous about it, but hope that these injections will relieve some of this pain. I guess the next step if it doesn't work will be an epidoral in my neck. Nonetheless, I am trying to keep optimistic.
I made a brisket yesterday which really turned out good. I took Walden Farms raspberry (yes raspberry...lol) jelly. (o calories) and a pack of onion soup mix and threw it in crockpot with trimmed fat side up. I slow cooked it for 8 hours. Had it on Joseph's Middle Eastern Pita with onion, mushroom and low fat provolone. It was really good. I did kind of overdo it a bit yesterday, had 1800 calories which is one of those rare days for me.
Trying to get psyched up for the word week. I have a boat load of meetings this week and have to let someone on my team go tomorrow. Never fun, I will be relieved when it's over with.
I hope everyone has a great Monday.
Stay dry.
Geoff

Thanks Lisa,
I am slept late this morning and plan to attend a noon meeting at the clubhouse here in Bristol. I hope you have a good evening with the Rabbi's family, with or without Bron.

Morning Trish... like I said above, kudos for recognizing and avoiding the temptation. That says a lot!!
I am up early today working OT..gotta get the $$.
After work, homework dance and then it will depend on whether I hear from Bron, what will happen from there. He is supposed to go to the dr today and get antibiotics and a diagnosis. He wants to come down, but if he has strep or anything else contagious I am going to tell him not to come. Siehara is very susceptible to strep and I don't need either of us getting sick, especially with our holidays and her birthday party coming up.
If he comes down, we will just have dinner and hang with him. If he does not come down, then we are going to go over to one of the Rabbi's houses for a sushi and soup in the sukkah event. The Rabbi's daughter goes to the Jewish Day School where Siehara used to go and they were pretty good friends, so I'm really thinking that we are going to go there regardless and Bron will have to wait. My child comes first.. ALWAYS. .. actually, we can bring him with us.. duh... lol.
Other than that, I hope for an early evening. I still have sleep to catch up on.

At work feel yucky. Not a good day on Sunday. Sometimes I get very tired of MEN. LOL sorry men. But I am frustrated with mine and not sure how to fix it. Not that we wont fix it and dont love each other, we do for sure. Just not sure how to navigate this. I am about to send in my womens posse and have them put him straight. Any volunteers?
