Trying to lighten things up around here a bit!  Hope everyone can find something wacky in your day to make you smile

Today has me working already. I'm trying to get in some OT while it is available again.  I can definitely use the money!

After work, homework dance, dinner and relaxing

Later, I'll drive Siehara to her friend's house and then head to First Strides for our workout.  After First Strides, I'll pick up the girl and come home to relax.

Pretty uneventful day I hope.

By the way, if you care, I found out some more personal details about what has been going on with Bron and at his house and I have a better understanding of what is up.  He asked for patience while he deals and gets through it and I am going to do that.  I do like him and I think once he is back to his normal self, I can make a better decision on what to do.

Good Morning Pa, and Lisa,
Lisa, Glad you have had some insight into Bron, and it is able to let you have some time to get to understand and know him better.  He may or may not be "the one" , but worse case being, he will turn out to be a good friend, and no one can have to may good friends.
Deliah's chicken pox's seem to be coming to an end, and the other two grands are not showing any signs of have it, Thank Goodness. (but we shall have to wait to find out)   Today I will finally be breaking out the sewing machine, and making the drapes for the girls room.  Maybe checking out the jewelry making supplies, and starting on a few projects there that I want to do.  That's about it for me today, no excitement going on here.  Have a good day, and may you have the strength to face whatever comes your way today, and be at peace with any decisions you must make.
Hugs Ena

Good Morning Lisa and the rest of the PA Family...

The procedure yesterday went really well.  And they ended up closing the wound rather than leaving it open as I thought they were going to do.  So that's good news on this end.  I'm pretty sore this morning around the incision area  which is to be expected, but things in this life are started to take a turn for the better.

As for today I have my therapist appointment this morning in about 45 minutes then a follow-up with my orthopedic surgeon (it's nice having 2 docs look after the same hip issue) and then physical therapy this afternoon.  Another busy day.

Well, that's it for me.. hopefully home tonight to relax.

Take care everyone,
Kris...

Hiall,

Interview today in Wellsboro.  May stop by Career Link to see if there is any paperwork I need to sign.  That's about it for now.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Not many folks on roll call yet this morning - where is everyone??

Good morning all - am REALLY looking forward to vacation.  Am in "I don't want to work this week" mode.  But, as a contractor, I have to deliver.. ugh..

Am worried that my transfer addiction may be shopping!!  I am having too much fun replenishing my wardrobe and I need to cool it....  My husband and I try not to hold any credit other than our mortgage and I opened two credit cards with stores to get 15% off of initial purchases.  I need to cut those credit cards up when I get them.  I had at a point in my life allowed myself to get up to 30k in credit card debt and I did a home equity loan to pay it off before we got married.  I don't want to get back there again.

Did anyone else find themselves going hog wild in this new world of clothing that opened up to you?  I am even buying more fashionable jewelry and shoes...  need to cool my jets...

Thats my confession of the day....

hope you all have a wacky wonderful wednesday!

xoxo,

Maura

There are worse transfer addictions to get than shopping, but limit yourself to cash purchases if possible. Not that I'm an example of that since I also have some cc debt, but keep them small and controllable. I went crazy at places like TJ Maxx and Marshalls last summer and winter - it was the first time EVER I could shop discount and buy cute stuff - shoes included. It is a great feeling to want to buy cool new stuff and feel fashionable instead of frumpy for a change!!

  Maura,
I did the shopping thing prior to my surgery, and had to file bankruptcy a few years ago.  It's not pretty.  My mom buys me tons of clothes at the thrift stores, and usually they are good quality, sometimes new.  It's an adventure for her.

Good idea to curb things in now, before you dig a hole you can’t get out of.

Hugs, Trish
